I don't mean this as a bad thing but I saw it more as a birth defect. I don't mean that as a bad thing. I'll try and explain. Males & females were obviously made/meant/supposed to be together because they both have organs and body parts in the same exact areas that will further the species. Otherwise men could reproduce without females and females could reproduce without males. I believe there is a gene or something that is different in those that are homosexual. Hell it could be a good thing, that's not even my point. I'm not saying that it makes it a bad situation, I'm just saying that it makes a lot of sense to me that it could be a birth "defect". I hate to even say defect so I would call it something different like a birth mutation or something I don't know but if the world, science, history, whatever intended for anyone to be with anyone then they would be able to have offspring without the opposite sex being involved at all.

You never snuck out of your house as a teenager? I'm about 7 years older than the alleged victim so grew up in similar times. My mom was a single.mom and had to work a lot, but she was a very good mom and was never neglectful. I started younger than 13, but 13 was about the age when I started going farther than just meeting with neighborhood kids. Since I was overall a good kid (read: clever and never got caught) there was no reason to suspect the lump under the sheets wasn't me. Or really any reason to even open my bedroom door after I went to bed, since I had never given her a reason to think I might not be there. Maybe the parents in this case were at fault, but I'm shocked at so many ppl assuming that good parents can't be fooled by a clever teenager that thinks she's invincible.

"the thing" (however minimal the thing may be, it seems to be about it being a requirement at all), AND even more so makes the required thing a non-issue, that physical rage becomes his go-to method even when it is overkill. I was thinking about how I avoid a 5 minute phone call to get something done, for no valid reason that I can explain except that it puts a dread in pit of my stomach. When I finally do it it was easy and no biggie so I don't know why the dread. This also happens if there is something I don't really want to do, and my ex would pester me to do it and I then really didn't want to do it. Obviously I don't have PDA but I can almost imagine, if my brain was wired a little different, how it might feel if I did. Anyways, from what I read, PDA is different from ODD, ASD, conduct disorder, etc. I wasn't clear if there is a consensus or controversy on it being separate from or a subset of autism.

I just went down a Google rabbit hole about this. Kids with PDA have some of the less classic symptoms of autism but tend to be more social and understanding of social norms- though they may think those social norms do not apply to them (not sure if I understood that last part right). The biggest thing with PDA is that with anything "required" of them sets off an avoidance reaction. Whether it is a request from someone else, or even a requirement to dress in the uniform to play his favorite game of soccer, or to be in said uniform by a certain time or he doesn't get to play the favorite game. These external or internal/personal demands are somehow so overwhelming to consider that they must be avoided at all costs, to the degree of panic. That avoidance often shows up in a physical manner, and I'm throwing my own minimally educated 2 cents in here: I would imagine that at a young age the kid finds that a tantrum or fight so completely overrides his panic over being required to do

Doubtful in this case. With Amazon (and we all know most if not all of these packages were probably from Amazon), after multiple packages are reported missing/undelivered/stolen, the drivers' have to take pictures to document the delivery. Also if the driver was going to steal it, they could just as easily remove the item from the package and return the empty package to warehouse claiming it got to them like that. Every day at work at Amazon I deal with numerous empty packages returned by drivers (possibly as a result of theft but more often likely improperly sealed package and item fell out somewhere between 1st of many warehouses and final delivery truck). My point is, there are easier ways for a delivery service to steal packages without involving the end-customer. :) Edited some punctuation.

I will 100% put my bag next to me on a seat if there are plenty of other seats of similar quality available. If I don't then fair chance that the coughing lady or the too-many-kids family will plop down right next to me when they could just as easily go somewhere else. I rarely sit in the "prime real estate" seats anywhere because people. I'm also very observant of my surroundings (that sounds like a positive quality, I probably should say vigilant instead 😂) and if spaces started filling up I'd move my bag in anticipation. So Ive never had anyone ask me to move my bag but am so nonconfrontational that I'd readily move it unless the asker was an obvious creeper AND there were plenty other spaces.

Well this is odd, but at least it didn't seem to be bothering anyone since OP said the light from the monitor was like the aisle light (my perpetual grinchiness is trying to find something, anything positive in the world). Assuming this wasn't a packed theater.

How did you call Uber? In my many searches I have never been able to find contact info of any sort, other than that available to drivers. Though I've never had to request a "rate review" (their current term for when they overcharge), so I wonder if the phone availability comes as a complaint is escalated.
