Lainey Molnar is back on Bored Panda with even more thought-provoking illustrations. With her art, she challenges and explores societal norms surrounding femininity, body image and more.
The artist creates empowering comics that resonate with women from around the world. "I personally believe that important or heavy topics are processed in a straightforward way - with just a few words - and with colorful and fun drawings it’s easier to relate to and connect over. I always mean to start conversations more than make statements, this content is as much about the individual stories and opinions shared in comments as the illustration itself," Lainey shared with Bored Panda.

The artist has previously shared with Bored Panda that she gets ideas for her illustrations from her own experiences as a woman. But she follows other content creators and inspiring people as well that touch on a variety of topics surrounding womanhood.
"I don't want to stop feeling emotions, I want them to be acknowledged by someone important to me"

Load More Replies...One thing I really hate is how some people will call a woman a "pick-me" just for not being traditionally feminine.
Same! Pick-me used to be a useful term for girls who throw other women under the bus in pursuit of male attention, but over time it's just become another way for traditionally feminine women to feel superior to butch or generally nontraditional girls (as if they needed another reason). Kind of a shame, but I guess that's just the internet for you :/
Load More Replies...Yeah! I don't wear makeup because I have sensitive skin, and I don't wear dresses/skirts or high heels because they're uncomfortable, but that somehow makes me a "pick-me"
how to be a woman, a simple guide. step 1: be over the age of 21. step 2: say you're female. step 3: you are now a woman, congrats.
Woman is woman no matter their appearance. Man is man no Matter their appearance. Neither is neither no matter their appearance
I wear what I wanna wear, if I wanna wear a hoodie I will and if I wanna wear a ball gown I will
Except I don’t have a ball gown but I would
Load More Replies...I really like the styles of the two on the sides. I'm all for short hair, high socks, and oversized coats. I love to be comfy after a long week of working at the hospital, and I'm gonna be a ragamuffin.
I'm the first one definitely. My best friend is probably the second.
uh who is gonna tell them- honey-- its 2023..

Top 4th hair, middle 1st clothes, bottom 2nd shape (and boots!). That's me.
What’s the pink thing on the lower right she’s holding in her left hand?
i love lainey molnar! i was actually going through all of the old bp posts with her comics last week
In the time it took me to read these, BP changed the headline...
No hate, but isn't our population going to decrease because no one's having babies? Again, no hate just wondering.
