So find someone else then. Find a woman who is the person you want. Don't try to change someone into the woman you want.
I do NOT think everyone should have kids, or think i'm better than anyone else bc i have a kid, but having our child has filled our house with a vibrancy i am grateful for every day. Also i would not go on half the adventures or know half my community or half my friends without him. I rarely defend the choice to have kids but i do want to share that. I lived 34 years without him just fine but i have a richer life for him.
I think the left one is a picture of somebody else's idea of a perfect woman, while the right shows my idea of a perfect woman
Change "but it can be her calling" to "it's her choice", then I'll agree. Saying it's a calling is a backhanded way to say it's her duty. Neither of those words are correct.
I don't see how vintage versus hand me downs are the same thing one's a few years old the other is well vintage!
I LOVE THESE COMICS SO MUCH THANK YOU BORED PANDA :D
The point of these is old news, and exists across many cultures in one form or another. People defer to the rich and dump on the poor or different because it makes their own lives seem better. A regrettable part of human nature that is very slowly being overridden by broader senses of decency and fairness, but it's so ingrained that it's a multigenerational process. Also regrettable.
An anagram of Lainey Molnar is "really on main". She's always spot on with her observations.
Artist had something to say 20 years ago not so much with it anymore I'm afraid.
I hate these stereotypes. When I see amazing comics like these speaking up against stereotypes, I hate them even more.
One of my favourite things about the internet is how when women express anything, there's always a bloke right there to explain how they're wrong.
Load More Replies...The comics are drawn by Lainey Molnar and she is very much not a high schooler. Her messages are very much true and necessary for people to hear.
