I have been fascinated by wildlife since I was a child. Whenever I came across a unique picture of an animal, I used to wonder how was this photograph taken. So it came to me one morning, why not use my love for doodling and create a wholesome backstory to these pictures. And I have not stopped since!

Ever since I was a kid, I'd look for comic strips in the newspaper and that is how I discovered Garfield. I would go to my local library and rent all Garfield editions and read them over and over again. Then, more recently, I was introduced to Poorly Drawn Lines and Sarah Anderson Comics on Instagram and I love them too.
These were my inspiration to start drawing my comics. I used to draw only funny comics at first with animals as the main characters because I found it easier to use them to express my thoughts. I started making wholesome comics because that was an escape for me from all the worries in these covid times. I love wildlife photography and I wanted to somehow combine that with my comics, so I can also promote these wonderful wildlife photographers who put in so much effort to capture the perfect moment.
I generally look for pictures on Instagram and Pinterest and save the ones that catch my eye. Then I spend some time looking at the image and try to think of various backstories. I try to keep the stories wholesome, which give out a positive message. It takes me 2-3 hours to draw a comic once I have figured out the dialogues.
"My baby! That is the most beautiful picture of myself I've ever seen!"
I used to post daily on my Instagram account but now I post on alternate days. I generally don't feel burned out as the creative process of drawing comics is my escape from the real world and it's how I am able to express myself. So rarely do I feel demotivated. I believe that I have this creative ability to write stories and these will last forever, even when I won't! I love the way I can dream up a story and turn it into comics. There are so many stories to tell; I just want to draw them all!
Very endearing. We need positivity in our lives now more than in a long time.

I was starting to think that Bored Panda was going into over drive with all the depressing posts of people being horrible to each other and all the AITA posts to the point that I was going to stop coming to the site all together. But I am so glad I stayed and found this beautiful post.
