Deividas Tamosiunas from Lithuania currently lives in Denmark and he's pretty much your average guy. Meanwhile, his alter ego, Needle Wig, is becoming more and more popular online, generating thousands of likes for its ridiculous and over the top comics.

"I'm mostly self-taught," Needle Wig told Bored Panda. "I keep learning everything from the Internet about how to draw things. Mother Google is my teacher. I've attended an art school (like an extra-curriculum after school) for 4 years, but it didn't teach me much in terms of fundamentals. Regardless, it was fun."

His strips usually consist of 4 panels, and I don't know which is more surprising—the characters in there or the scenarios they tell. Why don't you continue scrolling and tell me in the comments when you're done?

Needle Wig himself describes his comics as "slightly dark-themed, but colorful"; he always tries to make each strip funny, but they always turn out a bit dark-ish. However, the playful drawing style and quirky setups make it clear that neither the stories nor the characters are mean or aggressive, and are not set out to hurt someone. They don't take themselves too seriously. At times, you could say they're innocent although gory. "I'm still trying to figure out my angle. Eventually, I will but for now, it's a mix of the dark and the confusing."

"Generating ideas is difficult for me because sometimes I can't come up with anything all day," Needle Wig said. "Sometimes, though, they just come to me when I walk in a park, talk to someone, or overhear a random conversation on the street or wherever I'm prancing around."

"Usually, a character or an environment comes to me in the process of writing a story. I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid, and I think most of the influence comes from that."

Needle Wig said there aren't any themes he deliberately stays away from. "I haven't thought of any specific subject or theme that I wanted to leave out, and there are no ideas on my back burner where I'd think that it might be too sensitive to someone as well." And that's part of the appeal. You never know what the next strip is going to bring!

"Pardon me, honey, for kicking you in the head" became a family saying after my cousin got in the way of my shoe.
