Tim Thavirat continues to surprise us with his undeniably chaotic and funny comics called ManchildManor. By taking ordinary life situations and twisting them to absurdity, he has collected almost 75K followers on his Instagram page.

My sister did this one time. I showed her a picture and pointed at something, she squinted and tried to zoom it in XD I was like “you know that's not a device right” and she just went 0-0 🤣

It has been a year since Tim’s comics were featured on our page, therefore, we wanted to know how he is doing nowadays. Tim shared: “Being a videographer and dad by day, and fitting in the comics when I can. Always trying to monetize and find new ways to get them out there.”

More often than not, artists face various challenges when it comes to their artwork. We wanted to know what challenges Tim has faced and how he overcame them. “Finding the time can be difficult, with life’s other responsibilities. I recommend keeping a tablet handy, and fitting in any writing or drawing when you can. There’s often a few minutes of downtime when doing other things, and that’s when you can fit it in,” wrote Tim.

Nowadays, social media is as prevalent as having a phone, therefore, it is no wonder that artists tend to have various social media accounts to spread their artwork into the world. We asked Tim to share how social media, specifically Instagram, influenced his artistic journey. Tim replied: “Instagram reels have been huge, with the algorithm reaching a new audience. I typically animate comics that have performed well previously. Reels have tripled my following in the last number of months. Then that same content can be put on TikTok and YouTube shorts… maximizing my time spent on new work.”

When asked what Tim would like for people to take away from his comics, he shared: “Insight and joy in everyday things. Share them and use them to connect with others.”

As for what the future holds, Tim shared some exciting news! “Looking to self-publish a book this year! Be on the lookout…”

And lastly, he added: “Thanks for hanging and reading, Bored Panda folks! You rule.”

Not if you are the villain's sidekick. In that case you'll die even if you hear a gunshot.
