Try getting help as a man with an abusive woman. All of the posters in any help center show men being abusive. All of the shelters are for abused women. Walk into a shelter or court abuse center as a man? Good luck.

I wish I could send this to my dad... my stepmom often treats him just like that, but he doesn't seem to recognize it as abusive or abnormal enough.

I absolutely hate when people stereotype abuse regarding gender. A very good example of this is the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard case. All signs point to Amber as being the abuser but, just because of the gender, they pin Johnny?!?! Abuse is abuse people!

In my book, "abuse" is something more than yelling and being generally annoying. Abuse is made of fear, menace, physical strength. A woman being a bitch is not the same thing as a man breaking his girlfriend's bones and then terrifying her into saying she fell down the stairs.

Bosnia, Kosovo, Serbia, Ireland, West Indies, Jamaica, Poland, Slovakia ... all had migrants and refugees come to the UK and all were treated with equal contempt. When my family first came to England, I was too young to understand, but the most common sign you'd see read 'No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs' (Some were worse and said dogs welcome). Xenophobia doesn't care about your skin colour, It doesn't care if home was destroyed, it doesn't care if you were asked to come and work on the infrastructure.
