Norwegian Artist Creates Fun Comics With Unexpected Endings (70 Pics)
Interview With ArtistThere are tons of new comic artists popping up each day, but throughout all that hustling and bustling, many forget about the old guard of the comic world. In some way, it's harder to maintain being a comic artist than to establish yourself as one. Life goes on, careers change, but the passion for comics must remain: not everyone can live by this motto. But there's a small amount people who do, and Torbjørn Lien (Chez Cuckoo) is one of those few. What's amazing is that he has been able to keep himself in the game for more than 20 years, and by the looks of it, he's not stopping any time soon.

Torbjørn told more about himself and his comics to Bored Panda. "The Norwegian Walt Disney comic magazine Donald Duck taught me how to read when I was 6 or something. I read comics all the time as a kid and started to make my own around 9 or 10, I guess. First for my friends, then for a local school paper, and as a 15-year-old I got a comic published every Saturday in the local newspaper in my hometown (Mosjøen in Norway). One or two years later, I had comics in print in a national comic magazine.
But that's just the surface of Torbjørn's relationship with comics; his influences run deeper than that. "As a creator of comic strips, I first was very inspired by Mort Walker's 'Beetle Bailey,' Dik Browne's 'Hägar the Horrible,' and Gordon Bess' 'Redeye.' All classical American cartoons. Then I discovered 'Calvin and Hobbes' by Bill Watterson, a comic I still think is the best comic strip ever made. That one taught me a lot about comic strips!
Also, when it comes to humor, Mad Magazine was very important to me. There I discovered artists like Sergio Aragonés and Don Martin, who both influenced my sense of humor in comics."
yeahh more like she came in like a wrecking ball.... i'll um..go now
Christopher Frawley is a massive drain on society. Love is love, and kids should be taught this early on (except zoophilia and pedophilia. Crimes are not love)
Not sure why you guys downvoted Konnar here... high heels just objectively suck and we should normalize not having to wear them even for more formal events. If you want to wear them, that's fine, but women should have the option not to wear them without being judged.
Oh man it would suck to live in a place where people verbally judge you for not wearing high heels. Also, I don't understand why people downvoted Konnar (really downvoting shouldn't even be an option because it creates a toxic environment), but I can understand how they might see their comment. To some people that comes off as sexist because not all female identifying people wear high heels, and you don't have to be female identifying to wear high heels. I know plenty of guys, girl, and nonbinary people who absolutely love wearing high heels because it makes them feel fancy and stuff. I also know plenty of guys, girls, and nonbinary people (such as myself) who HATE wearing high heels with a passion, and would never lay a pinkie on any sort of formal wear.

too bad that the fact of noting them changes the order, it makes some gags unclear
The amount of negative comments on here makes me really disappointed. If you don't have something nice to say, keep it to yourself, people! On another note, these were funny and I enjoyed the art style!
I liked the style and the artwork but the humour is so-so at best.
The jokes nowadays are all about murder or memes neither of which are funny at least those have humor and effort.
