14 Funniest Wildlife Photos Of 2017 Have Been Announced, And They Will Make Your Day
We've already presented you with the nominees for the funniest wildlife photography shot of the year, and now the time has come to find out who the winner is.
The photography awards are held in order to spread awareness about wildlife conservation since 2015 and with each year it's growing more and more popular. "It’s been a real success this year, the quality of images has improved substantially and we have had more entries and from more countries," said one of the founders of the photo contest, photographer Paul Joynson-Hicks.
And while funny photos of clumsy eagles and laughing hamsters are sure to make you giggle, we shouldn't forget about the cause. The photography contest organizers invite everyone to check out the born free website and spread the word about wildlife conservation together with the amusing bunch of beautiful photos.

Plot twist: the male bear's wife hired the detective who took this photo.
"um, excuse you, we'd like to be left alone and you're intruding." "bloody peeping tom. sheesh!"
I thought so too, those bears f**k and toot.
Load More Replies...Yup, I just did a Google Search for Image and found these 14 pictures are part of The 34 funniest animal photos of 2017 shown in the The Telegraph, U.K. And the comment under this one is "Is there no privacy?! Bence Mate caught these two in flagrante". And under this in small print it shows Credit: Bence Mate, so he's definitely the photographer of the picture. I also found this about him: Award-winning Hungarian photographer Bence Máté captures wildlife up close and personal. His nickname - 'the invisible wildlife photographer' - offers an explanation to just how he manages to capture such intimate snaps. He can spend days, weeks or even months quietly tucked away in a hide that he has carefully designed and built. These often utilise one-way glass, which is what enables him to get so close to his oblivious subjects.
Load More Replies...OH GREAT ONE HENRY RIGHT HERE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE AND A FULL MOON TO BOOT.
"Wait, is that guy taking pic--" "No, no, it's cool! It's cool...just don't move!"
"Harry, are you SURE this is how Rosie O'Donnell got in to showbiz"?
Are those stars? Wow- nice place for some baby making.I still can’t believe there are that many stars Wow!!
Highly Commended “Monkey-Escape” By Katy Laveck-Foster
Highly Commended “Eh What’s Up Doc?” By Olivier Colle

Seriously! Usually I'm like "ugh 14 more pages of this? c'mon BP!" but today I want more!
Load More Replies...I think my favorite one is the sequence with the owls. Just hilarious and cute!
It seems like I saw some of these before. Where some of them on another post?
These are fantastic, would like to see more, what wonderful photographers
ANIMAL ENCOUNTERS by Jean Jacque - should have got in the top 3 I feel. The Composition of the Group is Great and the Subject Matter are a good looking bunch just going about their business and therefore look natural and not staged; the fact that one or two of them have been caught in the act of doing something Different, Astounding, Interesting, and Funny amidst the banality of daily life is definitely proof of Right place right time for the photographer and great entertainment for the World to see.
I tell you, I couldn't even leave a comment under the photos because the ones there already said it all! Way to go everyone! Love the photos, love the comments! More photos! More photos!
The dormouse photo has been around for years. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2309375/Having-squeal-time-The-tiny-laughing-dormouse-hide-delight-spring-finally-here.html
Number 2 has been around the internet for at LEAST 7 years and should not even be in the running. The last one, the mud skippers, should be one of the first.
It is so entertaining and fun to watch these funny pictures of the animals. We laugh because at one hand we feel superior to the other species, but at the other hand we recognize similar (or at least seemingly similar) behavioral patterns in human and animals. But what (we think) make us superior is ability to be self-conscious and introspective. Well, guess what, as it turns out, some people have developed their ability for self-consciousness and introspection to such a degree that sets them as far apart from other fellow humans as human in general apart from animals. I do not know if anyone put it better than Carlin! https://youtu.be/-ERFBg2Uh1c (if link doesnt work search youtube for "George Carlin's Greatest Speech"). :-)
Love them all---they are fantastic! I would have picked #2 as the winner tho! Keep up the great work and remember.....Wildlife Conservation!
Yeahhh because euuwwww animals don’t have sex!!! :D
