Artist Tries To Recreate Her Old Artworks, Gets Pleasantly Surprised By How Much She Has Evolved (41 Pics)
When you work hard, one of the most rewarding things is finally noticing your improvement.
Zozo is an artist behind the Strawberyypuffcake Instagram account who recently decided to recreate her old polymer clay artworks just to see the progress she made. This talented artist saved a lot of her first creations and now she‘s placing it next to the new ones, and you can clearly see the difference.
“You can do everything that you want to do,” says Zozo on her Instagram. “It’s not magic, just practicing. It’s not important for how long you are working on something. I always remind people not to give up, I’m always saying it so you wouldn’t forget.”
Practice indeed makes perfect!

Uh oh... did that older one stay in the oven a bit too long? Poor little thing!
I like this one a lot. They are both simple forms, but show the evolution in proportions and finesse in developing forms.
I never thought a lightbulb could be cute, but the little filksment on the bottom really makes it! Adorable!
Is it just me or does the 2016 one look more like a deranged llama? XD sorry
I like the first one more. Although the yolk colour on the second one is much better.
They've already shown the first picture, and what the recreation looks like...
Looks a Pokemon who evolved. Is it sad that I thought the first one was crying?
Heh I can’t even do as well as the first picture in all of these! Well done; keep it up!
Same. I wonder how long it takes to get all the details right
