Summer Unplugged: I Document My Kids Spending Idyllic Summers Without Computers
Since 2012 I document my children's and their cousins' holidays in the countryside, small village near lake Ługowiska in Poland. You can see my first post here.
Summer without a computer, the internet and video games, only children's creativity, friendship, and fun in nature.

All of these photos are magnificent! Black and white speak so profoundly ...thank you! They transport me to the memories of my childhood, yet the time in these makes my memories seem more grounded in the present. How much we and our children miss when constantly tethered to electronic screens and out of touch with the earth, or living creatures and each other. (Our four year old granddaughter arrives this weekend, and we're just going to play, create, cook, visit, draw and learn to swim!
Izabela, all your pictures are taken with real love and passion, love for your children& cousins, passion for your work!.... It was difficult to choose the best one...All them are number 1!!!. Thanks for sharing and letting see that life can be wonderful without ant electronic divise:)
Fantastic pictures.....'Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore But some days I sit and wish I was a kid again Back in the days when I was young I'm not a kid anymore But some days I sit and wish I was a kid again'...Ahmad
This is SO great! There is something special that nutures/teaches children from this kind of a lifestyle. They will have an empathy/creativity that cannot be learned any other way! KUDOS!
yesterday was my birthday i became 70..i drank in your photos....put my head down on a pillow and cried....thank you for bringing back to me the wonderful childhood i thought i lost.....your photos are marvelous
These children are so beautiful and the contrast.. Wow! Izabela, you are truly inspiring with this uhhmazing photography!
To enjoy life, we need to keep the balance between our past and our future. Be engaged and beneficiary of technology improvements but connected with our roots and mother nature. Izabela showing the way !! (sharing using technology moments without it)
such a perfect way to raise children, away from all the pointless technology.. Kids nowadays don't get to have a real childhood, which is such a crying shame coz they can never redo it, never get the innocence back.
Yeah, but these kids live on a farm. This would be a lot harder for kids living in the suburbs or city with nothing to do.
