I Document My Kids Spending Idyllic Summers Without Computers
Once again I wanted to present my series that I have been creating since 2012. I capture my children and their cousins during the holidays in the countryside, where they usually spend more than a month each summer. Children come to idyllic natural setting to spend time without a computer, internet, or Playstation. I am very glad that for a while I can feel like in my childhood. I watch them, often participate in games or even invent them. There, I’m happy…
I would like my children to enjoy such a carefree childhood as long as possible. Currently, children are 13, 9, 9 and 6-years-old, enjoying their summer with my two dogs Tosia and Leia, and dogs in the neighborhood. You can find more perfect summer moments on the previous post here.
I take pictures with Canon5D Mark III, usually with lens 50mm f 1.4, sometimes 85 mm f 1.2.

Being a tech guy, I wish this was my childhood summer or even the summer I can enjoy right now. No cellphones or computers, just pure serenity with nature and wildlife
These are some of the best photos of children I've ever seen. Brings back memories of bringing my own children to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to spend a month with grandparents and cousins. Lovely, lovely days.
Aaaah!! I don't know why, but I'm absolutely in love with the one picture where both of them are under that towel <3 <3 <3
This is an awesome study in fun in black and white... these kids had pure fun without any electronics, imagine that!
Just lovely - seemed like they had such a fun filled holiday. Love the pics with the dogs
this is how I grew up, so much richer of a childhood than cooked up in the house playing videogames by yourself or scrolling down to nothing on FB
My kids did almost all of that, apart from the cast in one's arm and that strange smoking impression, and they still got to play with their tablets a little bit too. Technology is here to stay. There's no point trying to separate your kids from it entirely. They will use it in their school work and work environment more than we ever did. It's not the devil. p.s. lovely set of images and totally reminds me of my summers when I was that age. And back then we did not have computers or tablets, so that was what we did.
Great photography, great works, and glad that children can enjoy summer in different way
Thanks for share your great moment and the pictures are so pretty :")
These kids are so lucky they don't have to spend the summer in the city with their working parents!
beautiful shots -- your memories are well documented. it's wonderful to give the kids such freedom, if only for a month. These images are exquisite in every way.
It reminds me my childhood summers. Beautiful, romantic, wisdom childhood.
This makes me think back to my childhood when I would spent summers at the countryside. Best time of my life. Something I hope to pass on to my kids one day. True happiness if found in the raw moments like these. No games or phones will ever give us amazing memories like these.
This is how I spend my childhood. Always playing outdoors and using our imagination when building sheds and enjoying nature. Living and loving life!
Diese Aufnahmen sind sehr gut gelungen. Das Schwarzweiß der Bilder trifft es optimal. Fühle mich an meinen Urlaub zu Kinderzeiten erinnert..... Diese kinder werden diesen Urlaub NIE vergessen.....
