50 Hilarious Pics That Show What Happens When You Leave Your Kids Alone
There is this saying: ‘Silence is golden unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very suspicious’, and that’s what these pictures are all about.
We don’t even know what those sneaky little angels are capable of until we see it. Have your kids ever surprised you in this not-very-pleasant but quite funny way? If so, share pictures so everyone can have a laugh!

I have a question. I have looked at multiple pages of kids painting themselves or something at this point. Do parents NOT teach their kids to leave items that don't belong to them alone? When three years old I got the brilliant idea of using my mother's lipstick to decorate the bathroom wall. She handed me a wet sponge and a can of Comet and said. You made the mess, you clean it up. She said I wiped a while and I cried a while. It took me hours to clean it. I'm sure she did additional cleaning after I was in bed. After all, there is only so much ability a three year old has. For the REST of my life, now 53 years later, I have NEVER drawn or written on any wall or ANY item I shouldn't have. That's all it took, I had to clean my own mess. How many of these parents made their kids even help clean the mess? How much you want to bet some percentage of parents actually MADE the mess to do an internet posting? Isn't there a Clorox commercial like that?

All the pics are so funny, but, you parents do realize that if you stop and take pictures of your misfit kid, presumably while you laugh, s/he's going to do that again?
They don't necessarily do that. Kids aren't simple output programs where one input does not equal one output. Plus, the parents might not laugh at all, they might've just taken the pic.
Load More Replies...Well, sorry, but I call these sets of pictures 'free contraception photos' :D Guess I may more happily live my life with three smelly and loud dogs...
Yeah, I love my nieces and nephew but seeing how they can act/behave or what they do sometimes... And seeing lists like this :P No thanks. I'll stick with my cats (and dogs later too) :P
Load More Replies...Right? I feel my ovaries collapsing in on themselves right now...
Load More Replies...It's funny but not recognizable to me. Keep your toddlers with you and supervise. Don't let them near expensive things until you can explain to them that they cant mess with it. My now four year old has known for at least two years that she can't touch my laptop and that if she breaks it we wont be able to get a new one. She wouldn't stick her hands into wall paint because she knows it's toxic. Things like that. Talk to yer kids, they're smart, they're people, they're not short little idiots unless you treat them that way :p
Even with supervision and learning not to touch certain things, it still can happen. When I was 4 or 5, I got hold of a crayon and decided to draw all over my bedroom walls one morning before my parents woke up because I didn't like the white walls. They ended up having to put up wall paper.
Load More Replies...They are all so hilarious. I have 3 kids so none of them were surprising and all invoked my sympathy for the parents and the clean up that came after! I also really enjoyed the 'helpful' parenting tips offered in the comments from those who clearly have no experience with parenting/children in general.
I haven't laughed this much in months!!! These are priceless... Some of them my own children. Brought back wonderful memories. lol
These really advocate not having kids. Funny as hell or not, that's seems like a tough job!
It's definitely time consuming and hard! But you don't have kids because they're easy 😉
Load More Replies...The kids were really adorable and innocent..not knowing anything whether what they were doing..😂😂
Kids are happier when they have proper direction versus when they are allowed to run wild.
Load More Replies...Some pictures show some rather poisonous/dangerous substances that weren't locked away out of reason. Keep your markers in the garage, or on a high shelf in your bedroom closet. Lock your pantry. You have to think like a toddler to figure out what they'll get into. But I know how fast they can be, too...
While some of these are funny. I have to ask what are these parents thinking? I have raised my own kids and never had anything close to these things happen. The paint ones kill me...Who paints with kids around?
This kind of things always wash away any thought about wanting kids... thx reality shock
I was one of these kids...I found my Mom's deodorant once (back in the days of white chalky stuff) and rubbed it ALLLLL over. Also found the baby powder another day and decided to redecorate the bathroom. I am SOOOO glad that my kid ISN'T one of these kids LOL. The literal worst (messy) thing she's ever done was draw with crayon on the Hall wall. I made her clean it herself with a magic eraser...she's hasn't done it again since (it's been about 2 years since).
I love this so much because it reminds me of what my now grown (24years old) son did when he was 4 years old. I was in the other room on the phone. I had tucked him into bed. After I got off the phone I went in his room to check on him. He had taken a marker and written the new word he'd just learned, "OIL", all over his legs, tummy, and arms. It was before cell phones or I'd have a priceless picture to share.
The kid in 96 actually did a good job on those nails. Future manicurist, maybe? The dog looks fabulous.
You get double what you gave your parents.... it is so silly to hear when you are experiencing that moment of horror... But, it is amazing how at 60 and being a grandparent... you can sit back and laugh when the saying comes true! I think #7 was more my personal experiences.
You sound like you were an a*****e and are just ashamed to admit it. Why not let kids be kids? They have to learn somehow and imagination has led to some of the greatest inventions in history. If you are so damn smart then where are the things you have contributed to society other than some smart a*s comment that really puts you being what I call a dumb a*s?
Load More Replies...my wife and because it prevents weavils from getting into the flour.
Load More Replies...All you critics out there....you know nothing of the struggle apparently. (Somehow by sheer coincidence) I know the parents of TWO of these photos, and they are fantastic parents! Kids are just kids. If every parent did what some of you suggest (btw, it has a name, it's call "helicopter parenting," and it ruins children), we would continue to devolve into a society of 30-something year olds living in moms' and dads' basements. Get over yourselves.
I know parents who aren't 'helicopter/authoritarian' parents but still discipline their child and those that are way too permissive. The child of the permissive parents turned out into a spoilt brat that doesn't listen to anyone and does whatever the f**k he wants. The disciplined kids turned out perfectly fine, don't live in their mum's basements, and know how to have fun without ruining things. There's a difference between letting your kid have fun breaking your laptop and letting them have fun playing with toys.
Load More Replies...God why do people have kids! They are the worst! (says a guy with 4 kids, 2 of them twin boys under 10) I mean amiright who would do that to themselves?
Just goes to show what neglect and "can't be bothered" attitude will result in, when a generation of parents spend more time on their mobiles than with their own children. Kids do need education and a system of strong values. none of my kids, even left alone would even dream of doing anything like that. this is the typical result of a lack of proper parenting. This is what kids will do to get just a bit of attention, even if this attention means that they are going to be punished.
Drawing on animals is not cute nor funny. It's dangerous and shouldn't be encouraged.
It's probably not dangerous for the dog if they're using kid's markers, but I'd still be very upset at my kid if they did this. It's not how you treat animals.
Load More Replies...This is not funny at all. It's not a matter of creative children but careless parents /keepers that leave them unnatended. I'd like to know how many kids die every year because of this.
You can't watch kids every second of the day. I mean, a parent has to shower, cook, clean and go to the toilet too, you know?
Load More Replies...People clearly don't pay attention to their kids. When a kid does something in the middle of the night, it's different. But, how do kids do all this c**p during the day? Get off the computer, stop staring at your phones, watch your kids. ffs.
I have to agree for the most part. Most (all?) of theses photos aren't so much about the adorable mischief kids can get into, as they are examples of many parents lacking some elementary common sense. Security latches on cabinets, placing things out of reach, etc., etc. That said, these sort of things aren't recent development as a result of parents being sidetracked with technology, etc. I did things as a kid and so did all my friends... over five decades ago. Kids are like monkeys... independent and creative.... only worse.
