Chicken Coup Out Of Repurposed Playhouse

I just got chickens recently, and I wasn’t sure about what to use as a coup. I repurposed my friend’s playhouse (taking it off the stilts, fixing the roof, painting and adding a backyard) and it all took only about 2 weeks.

Love the reuse! Just a recommendation: If you have any sort of predators - like raccoons - around, use hard-wire fencing. Chicken wire doesn't stand a chance. And it wont keep a raccoon from reaching in and grabbing a neck, even if it can't get to the entire bird. Chicken wire is more for keeping chickens in than anything else out.

Thanks Shannon! Since I posted this, I added what you said (fencing, a cover for the top of the yard behind it, better wire, etc.) Thank you for letting me know!
