Less than 1% of population, aka the rich and famous, are known for their killer looks and to-die-for style. But the lockdown is bringing the stars back down to Earth. And those a-listers are falling like proper meteoroids.
From sporting stained sweats to growing that beard out like Tom Hanks in Castaway, these quarantined celebrities have surely forgotten the fashion police. We’re all just humans after all. And there’s just as much you can do to look sharp for an hour-long Zoom meeting. The rest is reserved for the sweet feeling of not givin’ a damn. But don’t get surprised seeing the stark difference in the before quarantine vs. after pics. They’ve changed, but so have we.

The total number of coronavirus cases has now reached 2.7 million cases worldwide with 869,172 cases reported in the US alone, according to the data from Johns Hopkins University. And some the most well-known celebrities aren’t immune to the virus. Actors Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson were among the famous Americans confirmed to have Covid-19.
The 63-year old actor was filming for Baz Luhrmann's Elvis Presley biopic in Australia when he tested positive with the virus. Tom Hanks announced the news on Instagram: “Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

Singer Pink and her 3-year-old son have also contracted coronavirus and recounted their experience on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. “It started with Jameson, actually, and you know, he’s three—they get sick all the time,” she said. But after the family went into self-isolation, Pink started having some symptoms too. “I got it the second-worst [out of my family]; I’m 40, I have asthma, and I’m fit as a fiddle,” she told Ellen. According to the Rolling Stone, the singer donated 1 million dollars to hospitals in LA and Philadelphia upon announcing she had the illness.

A little over half of these I totally believe are without makeup or filters. The rest, absolutely not. I can still see the line between the lipstick and the edge of the lips, the “dewy” look of highlighters (the only shine that happens in the wild comes from oily T Zone skin), mascara, and “nude” eye shadows. Totally smooth, blemish-free and perfect freshly scrubbed skin—-male or female—-is also another rarity. I applaud the ones who realize this is the perfect time to drop a lot of our pretensions and just look like our real selves.
Agreed but just a few of those "questionable" make-up free ones might be really make up free. Having the camera love you is quite a phenomenon and is almost a huge part od why a cleberity is a celebrity. After all, most of them have to start somewhere and if the camera doesn't love you without a huge team to make you look pretty, it'd be hard to get noticed by casting. Also, it may just be light bouncing off their cheek bones due to the camera angle and how they position themselves. Simple camera tricks can make you look vastly different in a picture.
Load More Replies...I don't get what the point is??? If you were to be locked up in your house, not go anywhere, etc... Why would you look like your going out?? I expect the celebrities to look homey.... Why not! People need to stoop having so high expectations of celebrities! They are humans just like us!
I've been self employed/worked from home for most of my career - just as a routine I put on lipstick/mascara, come my hair, and dress decently - it is a morale boost. It takes about 3 minutes every morning! Its called respecting yourself. Unfortunately too many people don't which is why I get the special privilege of standing behind some slob in the check out who is wearing pj bottoms that probably haven't been changed for a week. Any wonder adults have to be reminded to wash their hands
Load More Replies...They started to feel physical pain for not being in the center of attention.
So...they are just people who are peopling? Not sure what this point of this particular page was..I think the bored panda here was the original poster.
Are you implying that celebrities don't always wear makeup and dress up when they're hanging around at home? Blasphemy!
These are just the difference between the red carpet and at home. The exception would be Kristen Bell. Kristen-Be...061ec5.jpg
They all just stopped wearing makeup, grew their hair out, got glasses, and started wearing sweats

People commenting on individual posts on this: Wow, they look so much better! They are such a good person, my heart goes out to them! People commenting in this section: They all have filters and makeup and they aren't looking after themselves, and they look like normal people, this is stupid!
Sorry to have a go, but this article is shallow and debasing. Bored Panda doesnt usually do 'look how awful people look now' stories, but.....
They just need attention. They "suffer" from not being seen.
Load More Replies...So all I have learned is that celebs are incapable of brushing/washing their hair, women can't put on lipstick/mascara, men can't (or don't want to) shave, none can put on decent clothes. And most of what we see in public is fake! I'm shocked, just shocked!
More like they are washing and brushing their hair like normal people instead of using 100 hair products, choosing not to put on makeup, deciding that there's no point in shaving when hardly anyone will see them, and wearing comfortable clothes.

Load More Replies...In fact this is how they really look without makeup, outside energies, photo filters, hyper-motivation etc.
Just shows that, in terms on physical appearance, celebrities are normal people like the rest. They get acne, white hair and beards, go bald, get fatter, are too pale, etc. etc. The difference is they get a lot of help through professional makeup, hair dyes, fitted clothes, perfect lighting, Photoshop, Instagram filters, etc.
You mean celebrities *don't* look like they do in magazines and at events, all the time?? OH. MY. GOD! I know it's called Bored Panda but this is beyond dull.
So, photos of celebs on red carpets/photo shoots vs at home = looks different. Who'da guessed?
Sorry, this is dumb. This is just what they look like normally without all the make up or filters.
"Oh no. The celebrities have to tough out quarantine in their million-dollar mansions with all the amenities anyone could ever want without makeup or parties! My heart goes out to their suffering."
Well, I would never have guessed. Celebs look just like us ordinary folks when they don't have inch-thick make up on and access to a hairdresser.
What's up with the guys? Besides toilet paper are people hoarding razors?
