In catifying my place, I found that increasing the distances between platforms forced the cats to jump to get from place to place and it has spilled over for our ten-year-old cats, making them more active and capable than they have been in years. Also, putting some thin carpet (like welcome mat carpet) on the shelves, allows them the grip they need to jump farther.

These are so awesome! Caution on the egg pods. These beds have killed cats. Despite a flat bottom, they can tip over, trapping cats inside. And because there are no air holes, the cats suffocate. https://sphynxlair.com/community/threads/potentially-dangerous-bed.27228/
