I Made Cartoons About Typical Situations At The Wedding That Every Bride Experiences
The wedding day will undoubtedly be the most beautiful day in your life, but the preparations for a wedding also bring many challenges.
I have collaborated with an illustrator, Ingebritt ter Veld, to capture five humorous cartoons to honor this momentous time in life on the occasion of my copper wedding. Do you recognize yourself in them?

Finding the perfect wedding dress comes with a subtle price of fear that something might happen to it
Doing the deed in the ladies room can be a real challenge for a dressed-up bride, this is how you can pee when there is no other choice
The tension of planning the day of one’s dreams can be overwhelming and this cartoon illustrates what it means to witness a real ‘Bridezilla’

Share on FacebookAfter my wedding reception, my husband and I went back to our apartment and played D&D with the best man and maid of honor. (Hubby was DM and he TPK'd us)
That proposing on the sofa one 🤣 I proposed casually to my man in a burger restaurant and he replied "you want to talk about this here????" so we waited until we got home and I asked again and he asked if I wanted to shop with him for a ring or be surprised. We picked the ring together, had it made, and 2 weeks later he proposed "properly" in a skyscraper restaurant overlooking the Thames. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was determined to have a chocolate fountain at my wedding. The fact that I was wearing a big white dress didn't occur to me until my first visit to said fountain lol Also, pro-tip to future dress-wearers: find a dress you can pee by yourself in, flats are your friend, and no, a crinoline is not always required. You'll have a much better time if you consider comfort alongside beauty.
