3 years ago I got sick of looking at the that perfectly pristine blank space on my daily cup of Starbucks. So I decided to do something about it.
Since then I have amassed well over 300 cup comics that are sitting in a storage tub in my basement, patiently waiting to be taken on a roving gallery bus tour across the globe (we'll mix in a boat for countries not connected to the United States). Until then, I will keep posting them to my Instagram account until I run out of money to buy coffee, or someone pushes me down and takes my pens away.

I love how he gave the illusion of the art being on a flat surface instead of a round coffee cup. The illustrations are cute and the lay-out is subliminaly (thats not a word i think) satisfying!
And on day, coffe will throw you off the boat, saying "Im helping with your life problems! No more life!"
Can't decide if it's because dogs are colorblind or because he's in a comic. Either way, it's funny.
Awe poor guy. I usually just take a novel and just get coffee and read.
Is that obama? *sees 'dont leave me' comment* OH MY NEPTUNE, COME BAACK!!!
News story: Unidentified person found with frost bite clutching cup labeled "Ivan" or "Alan" or "Elon(can't really tell)"... Please contact the police if you have info....
YES, I do so give a f**k. F**k yeah! HOLY F**K! This is fuckelicious!
Starbucks cuts down virgin trees to make their 4 BILLION+ non-recyclable cups a year. Why not get a re-usable mug and use other people's throwaways to make your art? Better yet, do pieces that bring attention to this horrendous reality. Over 5 million trees a year will thank you! Hey, Josh! I got really excited for a second, 'cause I thought one of my favorite cellists liked to draw. Love your artwork, sense of humor.
Nice work there was another post here few weeks back of a dude drawing on cups too!
I like these comics and your artstyle but I don't drink coffee sorry
Love these, Joshua. Do you have more of your comics online somewhere? I'd love to see more.
you really should think about selling these. There are a bunch of sites that let you sell your designs on travel coffee mugs. I know I would be interested in them. :)
There was a guy on n my office that used to draw on his styrofoam cups. I thought his were good, yours are fantastic! Very creative!
Joshua Hara - you should submit these to Starbucks annual design contest - they are wonderfully charming..
These alternate between cute and poignant. Very well put together, and hugely accurate! (It's 1am here, and I should be sleeping buuuuuut...coffee....)
😍Awwwwww! Ya made me laugh! 😝 You should market these..... white ceramic with a silicone snippy top. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 👍🏻🤓👍🏻
These are amazing! Do you draw them directly on the cups? They look so good that they look printed. And... they should definitely do that!!
Well done! You have an amazing talent, thank you. Keep up the good work!
Well done! I thoroughly enjoyed the work. You have an amazing talent. Keep up the good work!
THAT takes a fair amount of talent! Difficult to draw on a curved surface!
Wow!!! So amazing!!!! You are extremely talented and funny!!! I love your artwork!!!
I don't drink coffee AT ALL (I can't stand the taste)... But I upvote because it's entertaining and funny
Great use of your talent, kudos for recycling the cups and making use of them! You are very talented and I second the others that said you should transfer your work to mugs or something like that and sell them. You can open a shop on etsy😀 thanks for sharing, I enjoyed all of them!
The sheer variety in subjects amaze me. The artistic quality is stunning. loved viewing them.
