In 1998, Capcom released a horror game titled ‘Resident Evil 2’ (Biohazard 2 in Japan), and in 2019, they entirely remade it with shocking results.

If you compare image one, from 1998, and image two, from 2019, the difference is amazing. Graphics have evolved from simple 3D animation to extraordinarily complex details in each miniscule pixel. Not only did the graphics become better, the difficulty and complication of the gameplay also became more ideal.

The difference in these two screenshots is clear, even to non-video game fanatics. However, the physical appearance of the characters did not change much, except for the addition of more anatomically correct bodies, which, in the original’s defence, was very difficult to do with the technology of the time.
