When I was 9 years old, I decided to be a rebel and stare directly at an an annular eclipse. I received an eye injury where I see a small spinning ball of rainbow color in my eyes. I decided early on to use that ball of color in my eyes to my advantage- I use it as a sort of cursor tool to help me pinpoint locations where I need to focus on details in little things such as my artwork. 24 years later, as a street artist or during my down time when I’m not driving a school bus full of children I like to draw photo-realistic drawings using graphite pencils and color pencils. One of my hobbies as a starving street artist, is to save money to go to small conventions in Kansas city, Missouri such as: Planet-Comic-con, and Cryptic Con and get autographs of some of the celebrities that I draw.
It usually takes me 8-12 hours to draw a portrait. Each drawing is 18X24, the bigger the portrait the more level of details I can add.
My dream one day is to become a full time artist. As of now, it’s simply a hobby.
P.S. I have never been in a car wreck EVER! I’m actually the best rated School bus driver in my district because I am so keen on watching all those around me on the road like a hawk, and I am big on safety. So,never fear, your child’s safety on my bus is a guarantee!
