I’m a PhD student in Neuroscience, working in how brain (epi)genetics orchestrate cognitive processes such as learning and memory. I’ve always been passionate about fine arts. I’ve been drawing since I was a kid. Later on, as a teenager, I became a photography enthusiast. However, I never had the chance to have a good camera to work with. This last July I bought myself a Nikon and resumed my endless nights working on photography after leaving the lab, replacing scientific thought for the liberating process of photography. It took me over 8 years to bring my passion alive.
