The comments to 10 year old girls are especially sickening. How does anyone think that's okay?

Used to wear very conservative clothes to the office - didn't put men off from making inappropriate remarks and touching me. My husband set up his own business and I now work with him thankfully.

It also goes the other way. When I was skinny, I could get a job at the drop of a hat. It didn't matter what my skills were or what had happened with previous jobs..I could always get hired. Now that I'm fat, I can't get people to look at me twice. I have three bachelor's degrees, studying for a fourth...and yet no one will hire me because I'm fat, so I must be dumb, lazy and sick.

Women's fashion has changed all throughout history yet rape and harassment have always existed. No matter what a woman is wearing, her fashion isn't the problem, the would-be rapist/harrasser is.

I understand the girls, the man reaction is unbelievable and unacceptable. But, I can't stop thinking about a thing: what type of brainwash that man should have received for having a reaction like that? I mean, I am a man and I love women, if I see a nice girl I'm happy. That's normal. What type of mental process should lead a person to transform a good sensation (the view of a nice girl) in the stronger rage? What type of pressure society have put on that man, so wildly that he cannot even admit to itself that he likes women? For what I have read, the process could have been this: A like women and says it freely - X tell A to stop because is not good doing it, maybe calling he misogynyst - A stop to make pure appreciation on women, but starts to feel bad because he is choking a simple human tendency. So A starts growing a wild rage against his own good feelings that, at the end, A transforms in a wild rage against what he make feel good. I only think that we all need more education.

I am truly repulsed at the comments about the very clearly pedo men learing at children and the moms thinking it was the kids fault!?!?

Simple psychology, due to women's liberation, and the advent of a' free love' society means: The attractive girl, no matter what she wears, is attractive. Chances are she is a modern women, that more likely than not has had and will have sex before marriage. She is free to choose whom to have sex with, and guess what? It ain't you buddy! So she picks someone that is not you, so you know she has sex, she just does not want to have it with you. Why not? Am I not attractive, monied, funny enough? Guess not! Instead of hating on the girl, maybe you need to up your game? So the man in pursuit of said hot girl, knows that she likes men, she just does not like you, but, because you are an emotional child, you want to degrade her in any way you can, this makes you feel big and powerful in your head, and somehow validates your nasty remarks. This reminds me of a very old joke. What is the difference between a b***h and a s**t? A b***h is a s**t that will F your friends but not you.

I think we've all seen/heard things like this. I worked for a company where the President (male) hired a girl because he " wouldn't toss her out of bed for eating crackers." But the vice president of the company was disgusting. Constantly made inappropriate comments about staff members appearances. Dug into personal lives and would turn everything sexual. Talked often about how good blowjobs were. And this vice president was a woman! I'm female working in a male dominated field and although some men have been pigs, I find a lot of women to be far worse.

I remember when I first logged onto the Internet many years ago and got revolting comments just because my first name is usually for females (which I am). These comments happened within just a few minutes of log in. I felt attacked.

I deleted my lindkedin, i was getting dinner invitations and a inappropriete messages. From high managements .. pic i have for my id. Also it is normal to be s**t when you are pretty, i am being catcalled often too. At my work is even still normal to get promotion only when you will have intercourse with someone. I honestly don’t think there is anything women can do to prevent harassment from some individuals. You could go outside in a floor length garbage sack and get told it’s a “sexy outfit.” Some people are just creeps. It’s best to call them out or report them (but only if you feel safe doing so).

This s**t makes me so angry. Especially reading the replies to this post. It seems like people are getting angry at these women because the perverts that they work with are getting distracted? Or women are angry at other women because their husbands are perverted? This is a huge problem in our society, and it makes me want to throw up. If I ever got treated this way, I would (or I like to think that I would) punch them in the effing face.

Any man who can look at the photo of a woman in a tshirt and and thinks that is slutty has something wrong with him. I wish that men would realize that women are not objects and shouldn't be treated that way. Also, the women who blame other women for the actions of the men are sad as well.
