i actually agree with with last bit about abortion it should be women that make those decisions or talk about it
This is Tobias. Tobias has his s**t clear. Be like Tobias. Thank you mate!
Load More Replies...Men need to keep their nasty noses out of women's private parts. The end.
Janice, a father can certainly keep the child if they can carry it to term.
Load More Replies...Perfect answer.... it's those same men saying sit down and shut up the want to take control over our bodies.

Load More Replies...100% on the abortion part. Sadly I live in a country where it is illegal and only permitted if it will "save the life of the woman".
My mom was in the Army Air Corps in WW II!
Load More Replies...Women and children r very often victims of War including rape as a weapon of War.
The day men (or people without a uterus) can go through pregnancy and give birth they can have a say in the matter. Until then - nope. And I understand that it could feel "unfair" if you are the one without a uterus and made someone pregnant. Maybe it's your partner and you want to make the decision together. Maybe you want a child and it's unfair that someone else takes away that chance. But regardless it's still not _you_ who would be growing a parasite (because that's how it feels like when you are pregnant and don't want to be) and risk your health, maybe even your life. It's not _you_ who will sacrifice your body and/or struggle mentally. Pregnancy and childbirth are incredible hard things. If you think you have a say in that you don't realize how hard and scary that is.
It's amazing how angry men get when they have never had their rights questioned about anything. They are born believing that these rights are theirs simply because they were born. If you feel so strongly that rights shouldn't be questioned, then who are you to ever question a woman's rights. A woman's rights to vote, work, equal pay, and the right to do as she wishes to her own body. If we're getting rid of abortion rights then I say mandatory vasectomies at puberty, until you get married of course, and with consent from your wife.
Both of these responses are spot on. And the burn coming off of Colonel Olson's comment is very satisfying.
I saw your picture and kind of thought emo. Which is very judgmental of me and it made me feel both mean and old. Lucky for me it said emo almost right away on your profile. (Still judged though) I checked cause I was wondering if the person in the picture might have been someone I recognized. Yes, it can be a wonderful place when you don't get judgemental like I just did. Really love the variety of people on bored panda! Emo was never meant as an insult though, just so you know that and don't take it the wrong way.
Load More Replies...Oh the minute they are born, pro lifers no longer care about them.
Load More Replies...Gentlemen, sit down, while we women discuss abortion and war. Your sperm only make a deposit, then run. When it comes to the oven of life, we are the ones baking the bread.
Let's be honest: if men were the ones to get pregnant, this decision wouldn't exist at all! In this case no debate would happen because it would be clear that they would have every right to decide over their own body. Bestowing anyone who dare to say different with a pity glance and a shake of their head about the ridiculous opinion that their body autonomy could belong to anybody else than themselves.
Here's a thought: if your "relationship" is in such a spot that you're considering an abortion, it's definitely not ready for an unwanted pregnancy. If you have a good relationship, you discuss these things together.
Women are affected by war as much as men, SO; what this means is that when we serve, it's willingly - now that we are ALLOWED BY YOU MEN to serve instead of just sending our sons and husbands. Just like voting, remember when you guys wouldn't let us vote. You know, now that I think about it most of the worlds problems are probably because men wouldn't allow women to participate or give any input in certain matters. Just stop and think about that a minute now. Men ruling it over women, most of you treating us like sex objects and as less than, not paying us equal pay for equal work, etc., etc., etc., etc. Please feel free to add to the list.
People fail to remember that with pregnancy and giving birth your odds are much higher for maternal death or other complications than for men joining the military. When men join the military they have the option of leaving whenever they want, oh they do that all the time with their kids too. They get praise, salaries, education, and pensions. Yet women will always have to struggle and fight harder for our rights from some meathead all because he was born with a penis. Pull your heads out of your asses and and actually think about what gives you the right to tell ANYONE what to do with their body???
Load More Replies...Already posted this, but worth to put it up front: Let's be honest: if men were the ones to get pregnant, this decision wouldn't exist at all! In this case no debate would happen because it would be clear that they would have every right to decide over their own body. Bestowing anyone who dare to say different with a pity glance and a shake of their head about the ridiculous opinion that their body autonomy could belong to anybody else than themselves.
I have seen the first part many times, but it achieved stardom with the final lines.
So many down votes here. I will probably get many by saying this.. But if someone in a respectful manner share their opinions here. Do they have to get downvoted? Would be better to down vote *ssholes who treat other people poorly rather than sharing opinions (again, in a respectful manner)
I actually agree that they are the ones that should be discussing the mandatory draft. It absolutely should not be mandatory. Their bodies, their rules.
lol I bet there are 10 women in a 20 mile radius of that man that have been to war. And I bet he never will. Also we havent had a draft since Vietnam, so...there is that. This guy is a Beta with a pop on Alpha personality when women are present.
I'll say men can have an opinion. As they should be heard and not dismissed. They should not have control or the final say regardless of their opinion. Does that make sense? All of our opinions, thoughts, and feelings on any issue should be heard. The problem is men are having the final say in the matter and their opinion and what they want to happen is what's going on. Which is not cool. You can have an opinion and be heard while allowing the other party do what they want to do. That's called respect. Everyone's opinion matters in away. So I don't like the phrase no uterus no opinion. It should be no uterus, no control. That allows everyone to be heard but understanding that the final decision is up to the woman and only her. It can be that way if everyone gets along and has respect for each other.
Yeah, i get that it seems fair that everyone gets to have an opinion. But is it really fair or equal? I can see many issues with men having opinions regarding abortion. How do we know it stay at just speaking their mind? Women are still suppressed in our society. The majority of victims of abuse and domestic violence are women. If we make it a right that men get to have an opinion on abortion we can control that right. That could mean women could be forced to let the man who got them pregnant know, and that's putting her in even more risk. Giving men an opinion (even if it's not the final say) is increasing risks for women who already are in a difficult position. The benefit is not greater compared to the risk.
Load More Replies...Just a note: trans men and some nonbinary people can also get pregnant. Cis men should sit down and be quiet about abortion still.
In order to discuss abortion both men and women have to 'stand up' ( as opposed to 'sit down') as it has taken both a man and a woman to be in that situation.
But the person who posted this on here.. didn't like the comment?
But it's not just her body, it's also the child within her's body; the child doesn't get to decide if it is born or killed. How is that okay? Is it the child's fault that at least one of their parents made the decisions they did? Also, abortion often leads to ptsd, and many women are forced to do it by the dad, or other family members. So, not only is the child killed, but the woman often suffers as well. Just some things to think about...
I bet that colonel lady is really efficient at cooking and cleaning and sex because of all the discipline she got at military school
Everyone in this is just sexist. Didn't think it was supposed to be funny.
But how many male babies have been aborted, or should I say murdered? So, yes, we should be able to talk about it. I hear all of this, "My body my choice," but it's not your body that you are literally murdering!
In India and China female babies are aborted not males. In fact there are males in China than females. Many poor Chinese farmers get their wives illegally from North Korean brokers basically sex trafficking. So I’m not sure I understand your logic how male babies are aborted when worldwide it’s generally female babies being aborted. I wrote several paragraphs WAY way up top discussing why this should be primarily a woman’s choice not a man’s.
Load More Replies...Abortion is WRONG. No one should ever be given the choice to legally murder their own child. When a women is pregnant the baby inside her is in her body but is not her body. That child is a seperate being and because of that "my body my choice" means nothing because that childs body is not her own. I understand that women have faces sexism in the past, but that doesnt mean women have the right to murder children. People are people. Why does it matter if they are unborn are born. People have gone to far in the search of "equality." I know children are a huge responsibility but that doesnt mean they should be put to death. What goves anyone on this Earth the right to decide who lives and who dies. The thought of the countless children murdered yearly from abortions truly depresses me.
Just because it’s wrong for YOU does not give you the right to decide that for every woman. It’s not that children are a huge responsibility, it’s a medical condition that can endanger a Woman’s life. Whether she was using protection, or a woman was raped or preadolescent is impregnated due to incest or a woman gets pregnant and her doctor discusses with her how this could kill her because she has a pacemaker…or maybe the man wore a condom and it broke: it is no one’s decision but a woman and her doctor. Are you medically trained to understand all the possible millions of complications that can happen due to pregnancy? No I thought not. While that fetus is barely a viable zygote, it’s not a child. It’s a cluster of cells going thru mitosis. Lol. While you’re concerned about the countless of children murdered from abortions yearly as you say…why aren’t you thinking about the hundreds of thousands of children in foster care born to parents who had them knowing they were unable to
Load More Replies...Yes, because not having a vagina means you can't fight murder... Somehow... /s
Just wanna say- some gentlemen can give birth (trans mascs like me), so certain gentlemen do give birth. And they are the only men who have a right to speak. (Basically- if you don't have a uterus, sit the f**k down. It's not hard.)
This is pointless. The comment obviously refers to "women" as in female humans, sex not gender. Your kind of comments just make it more dificult for afab people to abort.
Load More Replies...It’s mainly the females issue. And the girls who might have been raped would have their lives changed forever. Where is the rapper when the female gives birth?
Load More Replies...Then that's a decision between the person who is pregnant, and the person who made them pregnant. Or a discussion, at the least. But at the end of it all, it's decided by the person who's body is being invaded, and definitely not the governments.
Load More Replies...No, it isn’t. Because it isn’t about a father having no right to be involved in discussion. Of course he has the right to his opinion. What he doesn’t have is the right to choose if the woman does or doesn’t go through with a pregnancy nor to opt out of his responsibility if her decision is to have the child. In any case, the point being made is that lawmakers should not have the right to make it illegal for a woman to choose not to continue an unwanted pregnancy provided she makes the decision early enough. Would you support a law that if a man doesn’t want to be a father then the mother is forced to have an abortion?
Load More Replies...What are you writing in here? Are you high? Female animals? Population... What?!
Load More Replies...Exactly! Men need to stop monopolizing their control over our bodies.
Load More Replies...Riiight. Sure. Go take your nappy-nap old grouchy pants.

Load More Replies...To learn more about witty comments and how to improve our comedy skills, we spoke to Abigail Paul, a standup comedian, improviser, and actress with an irreverent and original comedy brain. Having performed improvisation, standup comedy, and theatre in venues all over Germany, the US, and the EU, she was kind enough to share her thoughts on why people leave comments in the first place.
“Today’s reader has the advantage over their predecessor that they feel part of the action,” she said. “In comedy, we are always looking to create content that an audience member will relate to, so when someone leaves a fantastic comment on an article or picture, it helps us feel connected, a little less alone.”
“It shows us that someone else, maybe many people, think the same way we do,” Abigail mentioned. “We take great comfort in not being alone on our ideas.”
The standup comedian revealed that the secret to a successful comment is probably equal parts true and surprising. An unexpected remark “that just has shock value isn’t as highly regarded as one that is embedded in truth.”
“In comedy terms, your picture or article you are commenting on is your setup. Your witty comment is the punchline,” she explained. “There are lots of ways to be funny, but a great punchline will usually have excellent use of wordplay, exaggeration, or make an analogy to something else so the reader can maybe see the topic in a new light.”
Well, the natives here in the US were more curious than frightened, and look where that got us. It definitely was the right reaction.
“The most important thing is usually an element of surprise. Good comedy writers use misdirect as well as a magician does. We think we see you going to one place and you go somewhere unexpected. Audiences love a twist,” Abigail said, providing true crime podcasts as an example.
According to her, leaving a comment and letting out a few chuckles helps us bond with others. “Comedy is the most fun thing humans can share (besides pizza),” she said. “The pandemic has forced a lot of comedy experiences online. It hurt live comedy a lot, but new spaces have thrived online because people need to connect and laugh. The upside is you can find ways to be funny at home in your PJs.”
come people wake up she survived all 3 ships sinking am i the only one thinking maybe she sank them all
If you want to improve at writing clever comments online, you need to practice. “Comedy is a skill,” Abigail told us. “The more you write, the better you usually get.” But it’s important “not to get too precious about your work. Notice which clever comments you are writing get lots of likes or replies, and see if you can dissect why that comment is working.”
“If something isn’t working, don’t worry too much about why. A lot of good writing is throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.” She advised you to focus on what works and try to replicate your own formula. “Also - edit. Are there any words you can take out, but the comment is still really funny? Then do. The more concise you are, the better it is for your reader.”
Don't they have cliff sensors? Mine does. Won't even come within 30cm of a step 1cm high.
Abigail is now busy with her new organization in Frankfurt called English Comedy Frankfurt, aiming to bring fun shows with diverse audiences and comedians. So if you want some tips on writing for standup, be sure to check out her website and follow her work on Twitter.
It looks like that one little square in a rubik's cube that you just can't match!
Judging by the cobwebs on the books; perhaps everyone there is stupid.
I think this is the 4th or 5th time I have seen this pic on BP so far lol
Oh god this is terrifyingly funny I can't stop my laughter HUUULP
It's not an inventor of that... thing, it's Sam Chui, aviation journalist, yet someone wishes him everything the worst. That's... not nice.
I rememebr already laughing at this at the original post and now for the second round: bwahahaha
Without being sarcastic, I'd like to say that I'm surprised... and a little proud to be featured in this post.
I like puns that are terrible. People that turn their nose up at these need to Czech their privilege.
As someone who grew up in Western Australia, this image terrifies me
This was great, and why I love BP. The people here post the most funny things and there's always someone here that makes me laugh !
We need more lists like this! A ton of people on BP are hilarious!
Your comments have made me laugh so hard, you should've been on here Jo Choto!
Load More Replies...I was kind of hoping to see some of the ogs here (like Foxxy the original!) but at least there are some lesser known pandas on here! good job :D

Is Foxxy or Foxy THE ORIGINAL kicked of this site? She was once commenting on nearly every article getting loads of upvotes (didn't matter what she wrote). She is not on this list and I havent seen her in a while.
And that’s why I read Bored Panda daily. A lot of people here are smart and have a brilliant sense of humor.
Someone should post the most stupid comments, sometimes the comments are as funny as the stupid statement above
Special shout out to anyone who comments "boop" on a picture showing a dog's nose. I don't know why, but I love that so much. It's not original like the ones on this list, but it's tradition, and the cuteness of imagining booping the snoot gives me an endorphin rush every time, so thank you.
Very clever, Pandas. Party! I looked through my notifications from the last month, and by comparison, my top comment had a paltry 29 upvotes. You're internet superstars!
Sum Guy's comment on the picture of the two people has only 60 votes, when all the others have at least 200. Methinks there's a bit of bias going on here.
You should have been there too, Aroace tiger! I love your comments!!
Load More Replies...That was a walk down memory lane! Meta articles like this one should happen more often.
Just no, there is NOTHING more irritating than people commenting on posts like they think they're funny.
Loved this list. I saw comments on one yesterday that had me laughing for an hour. My husband kept asking if I was ok... and what was I on because I was giggling to myself so long.
How ever read each and ever comment to make this post deserves a medal and ice cream
The article is represented by the spelling of disapprove in a example that actually doesn’t make the list. Great work BP.
It does make the list and it is WITHOUT the typo. That error was down to some BP staff member retyping it wrongly.
Load More Replies...But… what if this is it? There will never be new content. Will you ever be content?
Load More Replies...Yeah it's unethical that BP doesn't pay commission to its members every time they post a comment, which is how it's done on most other websites, for example:
