I remember being told by my parents that I couldn’t help chop wood and bring it into the house (like my brothers were) because I was a girl. But they were fine with me moving heavy wheelbarrows full of horse poop and moving 50-60lb hay bales around by myself. Thankfully once I questioned them about it they apologized and agreed with me. Then I got to manhandle the spider-infested wood blocks in the woodshed 😂 did that to myself haha 😂
