It may be hard to believe, but the frog you’re about to see is not a frog at all!
Inspired by nature, recognized body art professional Johannes Stoetter turns living models into animals, fruits, flowers, or blends them with the surroundings with visual illusions. These impressively detailed body drawings take up to five months of thorough planning and up to eight hours of work to complete. The winner of the World Bodypainting Championship in 2012 says that the key to success is to love the unique art that you’re doing:
“I think I observe the world, nature, colors, and shapes with very clear eyes and an open heart and that’s where my drawing inspirations come from. And painting is my big passion.”
