The way I discovered to learn this was to forcibly make myself take control of my night terrors. The unreality of the situation coupled with my being simultaneously awake and asleep made it a perfect training grounds, as that's basically what a lucid dream is (but without your eyes open).

Scientists have recently discovered that it was male youths who were primarily sacrificed— often with the same DNA indicating they were family members. It is impossible to distinguish male from female skeletons before puberty so this finding is amazing in understanding WTF the Mayans were doing. I love science so that made me go HUH. In a good way. Well, not for those boys…
