German designer Belinda Berger, a specialist in ceramics has created this superb collection entitled “Country Life”. What she does can really be described as a kind of living art… Each piece is a tactile, aesthetic piece of ceramic art that can be eaten off, drank from and used for everyday purposes in the home. Equal parts funny, creative and unusual with numerous vivid and cheerful.

Says Belinda, of her work, “I want people to be surrounded in their everyday life with nice things and everyday items should earn aesthetic recognition”. Her “Country Life” collection is definitely a good step to reach that goal. Enough of boring, standard sets of china, it’s time for plates, teapots, milk jugs and butter dishes with a bit more life to them, inspired by the spirit of the countryside.
