I did exactly the same! I had it long because he loved my long hair. I left, one week later, the best a-line bob ever! It was my literal dream haircut. Hehehe. I kept it short for at least 15 years after that. Best thing I could have done for my spirit. It was set free!

Ah cool I made the list! I love both versions of me but the long hair became tiresome to maintain. My look now far suits who I am. I like dressing in smart clothes and showering daily now haha. Back then, not so much. Where it matters, we're still the same person though. I accept him more now then he did back then.Thanks for the comments and votes.
