Look around you. The world is full of empty canvases. Everywhere you turn are empty walls where beautiful pieces of art could be, but often these spaces are overlooked in favor of boring blank nothingness. But fortunately for us there are artists out there who are determined to transform our world into the vibrant public art gallery that it deserves to be. Take a look at these before and after pictures of spectacular street art to see what we mean. Compiled by Bored Panda, the gallery below serves to remind us of what our towns and cities could look like if only we used our imagination. Don't forget to vote for the best!

Major difference to the landscape and peoples moods & thoughts about a town! Love it <3
1st rule of posting something - BEFORE PICTURES 1ST THEN THE AFTER ONES!
What a fabulous way to deal with scruffy boaring parts of a community. bring it on more please. So skilfull.
I'm amazed and disgusted by all the "Photoshop" screamers! "Fake, fake, fake!" Yuck!
These are beautiful. Very fortunately I have had the opportunity to see many of these. Oceanside Friends of the Arts is actively working on similar beauties right here in Oside. Thank you
What a wonderful way to brighten everyones day, cant believe anyone, Anyone could complain or make sour comments.
Depends half would look better without the murals, half look amazing. IMHO front side murals are kitsch
There is much more beautiful murals in Lodz, Łódź, Poland. You can see them here: www.urbanforms.org/News/en/
How wonderful to have all this amazing talent. What transformations to dismal walls. Good fun and invites discussion too. Love it!
The ability to give life to dead boring landscapes is just an awesome gift....
Technically, the title should be 'After & Before'. Some stunning artwork though!
What incredibly skilled trompe l'oeil artists! How wonderful that there is a whole world of blank walls to be painted!
It frustrates me SO MUCH how it shows the after and then the before picture!
Yes! This is the second post I've seen that does it this way. imo, it ruins the effect.
