30 Before & After Pics Of This Makeup Artist’s Clients That Shows The Power Of A Good Makeup Artist
Makeup has attracted Ulyana Starobinskaya since her childhood. So in 2008, she decided that enough was enough and made a conscious decision to turn her passion into a career.
After 12 years in the industry, Ulyana has become really confident in her ability. Now, the makeup wants all of her clients to look like Hollywood beauties, whether they're preparing for a wedding or just a casual photoshoot.
To show off her work, Ulyana posts before-and-after pictures of her clients, revealing the effect her makeup has on them.

"Even though I've already spent over a decade in the beauty industry, I am constantly in awe of how beautiful women are," Ulyana told Bored Panda.
"I just enhance their natural beauty."Ulyana considers a lot of things before she applies makeup on someone, including their physical features, clothes, character, and, of course, the type of event they will appear in.
there isn't that much different just some lipstick and concealer and it looks like she brushed her hair
Yes! She lost the young, innocent part of her to the makeup.
Load More Replies...But the make up made her look much older! without make up she looks like a teenager. With make up, late 20s.
However, no matter who she is working with, Starobinskaya said the most important thing for her is to see a client's eyes light up in appreciation of the job she has done.
"I like to work in many different settings; with models during photoshoots, with brides, as well as teach both regular women and up-and-coming professionals more nuanced things on makeup," Ulyana said, adding that she has multiple courses for everyone who shares her passion.
She's a beautiful woman but, honestly, I think this makeup ages her. A lighter lipstick and less blush would be better with the heavy eye makeup.
Beautiful face, but I don't think make up did her justice. Her lips look smaller with such bright lipstick, and that bronzer color is a big NO for her complexion. I would go with nude or brownish lipstick and just slight touch of pink blush.
This one is great! She looks so much younger! Without apparent sun damage, you can see how pretty her face actually is.
"Because of the many requests I've received on the Internet from my followers all over the world, I have also developed a comprehensive guide that covers the basics called Makeup For Myself so that every girl, no matter where she lives, could have the ability to learn things she can use in her everyday life."
Actually, this is a natural phenomenon in hazel-eyed people sometimes. if you look closely in the first pic you can see the undertones of green--the brighter light used to take the second pic really highlighted that and makes her eyes appear to have changed, but you can still see the brown around her pupils
Load More Replies...Why do they always cover up beautiful brown eyes with fake green contacts?
Has she been in a fight. Look at her mouth. No normal make up artist would go near her mouth until that healed
I agree with Kapoenje and Samantha, she doesn't look like she is in very good shape
Is it just the lighting in the picture/my computer screen or was their overall skin tone/color completely changed?
There's a considerable amount of Photoshop being used in these pictures. Look at the neck on the left (natural looking) compared to the right (imperfections gone).
the eyeliner really changes the way the shape of her eyes looks!
She has too much blusher on and that lipstick is the wrong tone
Just what I wrote. Lipstick doesn't suit her and blush is not doing her any favors.
Load More Replies...I think she would look better with another hairstyle, maybe darker hair color, and nude lipstick. I would also get rid of this awful bronzer or is it blush? She has nice complexion, just needs to be more even. But not so many red colors, her natural tone should be more neutral.
I'm not in- love it kinda looks like barbie, but i am not trying to be rude
sorry might not make sense i meant "I'm not in love, kinda looks like barbie
Load More Replies...When you just don't want your clients skin tone. Her other ones are better though.
Heh....you put a ~little~ dark of foundation on her...makes her lopk lioe Donald Trump or a burnt orange cheeseball with hair.
she is TOTALLY a movie star. I mean.... that smile is Harley Quinn
bruh. if you are going to criticise these women for looking stunning then you need to stfu and gtfo. b*tch
Load More Replies...She's actually wearing makeup on the left. I can see eyebrow pencil, lip color, and eyeliner.
so glad that I'm not the only one thinking that XD
Load More Replies...Another case of eye color changing due to... makeup? Also added a slightly different hairline.
She kind of looks like Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen... In the first pic, of course. I think it's the eyes.
They probably just accidentally added it twice, no need to make a big deal about it
Load More Replies...I don't know why this upsets so many people. I feel like this article brings out the natural beauty in people, not covering it up like so many other articles that just use pounds of makeup. I personally like how most of the women look, with or without makeup. But makeup makes a lot of people confident, including myself. I think that people should be able to do what makes them confident without being judged.
I love that the same look isn't used over and over like some makeup artists do. The makeup is flattering and not over the top.
Wow! All of these people are beautiful with or without makeup! Makeup and artificial looks is not my thing and can't be bothered to wear makeup but the makeup artist is indeed very talented, and if you want to wear tons of makeup because it's your thing and it's fun do it!!!
This is a much better MUA showcase than the ones BP has been having. Some of these might have used some tape or airbrushing in the afters, but most of them are much more natural looking than the Kartrashian-inspired cake layered makeup showcases of previous ones. The women in the after pictures still look like the ones in the befores, sometimes even with bumps, wrinkles, and all! If BP's gonna peddle more MUA spotlights, can they at least be MUAs who do more work similar to this?
A lot of these "after" photos are also edited. Some even have fuzzy/cloudy filters on the photo which is apparent when you look at the background in some of these. Also how many articles do we need to see that shows people plastered with makeup to look "better"... I imagine it would give people self confidence issues when they can't re-create the same makeup skills at home on their own. The before photos show much more personality.
