Miles Scott, a five-year-old boy in San Francisco who has been fighting leukemia since he was one year old, was given the opportunity to star in a cute and heart-warming city-wide drama as Batkid, the caped crusader.

In the city-wide event, which featured civilians, police and a full-fledged social media campaign, Miles, dressed as Batkid, got to join Batman in a black Lamborghini as they drove around the city to save people in danger and stop infamous criminals. This beautiful testament to human love and compassion was made possible by 11,000 Make-A-Wish volunteers and the city of San Francisco. The Make-A-Wish organization makes the wishes of children afflicted by life-threatening diseases come true.
