Statistics don’t lie. Abusers of children are overwhelmingly heterosexual men preying on females. Statistically, your kid is safer at Drag Queen Story Time than they are at church or school. There’s no evidence to suggest that higher rates of abusers exist in the LGBT+ community than the straight community. The point is not urging parents to take their kid to story time. The point is that it’s ridiculous that it’s a crime for a fully dressed person, in a public place, most likely with parents present, to read a story.

In the near future states like Tennessee will probably ban movies like Mrs Doubtfire

Even if I wasn't poor I would buy most of my clothes from the op shop (thrift store). It is pretty common where I live (except maybe in certain suburbs) for people (mostly women) to brag about the deals they have gotten from the op shop. I have a handbag shaped like a book that has gotten a lot of compliments and at least twice it has led to me chatting about deals from op shops with random women at the bar.

That happened years ago at a festival near toronto. No outside drinks and they ran out of water to sell in a heat wave and had to use hoses to help people and many ended up sick... many venues changed their policy after that to allow sealed bottles of water in.
