When You Hear This 10-Year-Old Autistic Girl Singing “Hallelujah” It Will Give You Goosebumps
Meet Kaylee Rodgers – the 10-year-old girl from Northern Ireland that has left the Internet in awe with her beautiful version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah.
Rodgers has autism and ADHD and singing helps her build confidence. The video features her singing with her school choir for their Christmas show. It was posted on Facebook only because Rodgers was too ill to perform live on the day of the show, and went viral with over 900k views so far! “It was really amazing how many views I got,” Kaylee told ITV. “I just loved doing it.”
Check out the video for yourselves below, but be aware – it’ll leave you with goosebumps!

Share on FacebookThis rather confused me at first, because it isn't actually the Leonard Cohen version, I listened and thought I swear these aren't the lyrics, it is actually the 2014 Christmas cover version by Cloverton. But aside from that minor confusion, I was absolutely floored by her incredible talent! Wow! This girl is absolutely amazing.
I noticed the lyrics seemed different. I've only heard Cohen's version. As you said Kaylee is amazing.
