“Neither myself nor my husband can remember exactly when our alter egos came to life. One day they were simply there, and from that moment onwards our marriage, our lives, changed forever.

We believe that they came to help us cope with our big fat egos, to make the hardships and challenges of the human experience a lot easier to deal with. After all, Fox will always want to eat the little chic alive, with all the dilemmas that come from loving the person you sometimes, just sometimes, want to kill. And Chic, being a chick, will try her best to turn the wild animal into a boy, plucking his ear hair and cutting his claws, but ultimately loving him for who ,and what, he is.

Marriage can be a very strange thing. It can be mysterious, like the back of your someday- might-be-useful drawer. It can be as deep as the sleep of those who sleep embracing their loved one and it can be ridiculously fun, like the prance of an hysterical kitten.

But above all, marriage can be the most magical and transformative experience, something that turns you into a princess, a queen, a goddess, or even a chick.
