This isn’t how you want the public to react to your newest product. Apple has just unveiled their newest iPhone model, the iPhone 12, and people are already poking fun at the fact that the smartphone looks an awful lot like the iPhone 5.
Bored Panda has collected some of the funniest reactions to this bit of news, so scroll on down and upvote your fave ones. And while some people think the reveal was worth the wait, others are still on the fence about the product.

According to Saul Ponce, their first reaction to the iPhone 12 was that it was the "material personification of a downward movement in the business cycle." The Twitter user said they couldn't believe their eyes and they felt like they were staring at the iPhone 5.
"Honestly, a bit disappointed," Saul Ponce said about Apple's big reveal. "Their presentation is always immaculate, but the products fall short of interesting. Every new iPhone just seems redundant and unnecessary. The compartmentalization of accessories from the phone are definitely the final straw. It’s a clear intrusion and disregard of how loyal the Apple fan base is and they keep pushing boundaries because they can."

What caught people’s attention was that the iPhone 12 was a spruced-up version of the iPhone 5: a similar body with a cooler camera.
There are a total of 4 new iPhones coming out this year: the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will be available from October 23; while the iPhone Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Mini will be available from November 13. What’s more, Apple CEO Tim Cook also unveiled the HomePod Mini.
That’s a lot of different iPhones when you think about it. But they all have some things in common. Each iPhone 12 will have 5G connectivity, an A14 bionic chip, and will have ‘Ceramic Shield’ technology that (according to Apple) will make them the “toughest” and “brightest” iPhones yet.

I will admit Apple is really lacking with not making USB-C charge port already...
The iPhone 12 Mini will cost from 699 dollars onwards while the regular iPhone 12 will start at 799 dollars. Meanwhile, the cost of the iPhone 12 Pro will start from 999 dollars while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will cost 1,099 dollars onwards. Of course, the costs depend on how much storage space you’re going for and can go up to far, far more. But that’s par for the course for Apple.

They really should increase the interval between releases.The enviroment cant afford to churn out new products with marginal improvements each year.

The most hilarious thing of this all: There will be people thinking : "Oh, Less than a year ago I bought a phone for $1000. It still functions and isn't scratched or damaged in any way. Yes, I think it's time for a new $1000 phone."

This wireless charger is what's wrong with design. New products should be about making life easier, improving quality. But Apple are so caught up in the "aesthetic" of what futurism looks like; they just say "Wireless charger! Cool, advanced tech, right? Right?!" Basically, if it isn't broken, don't fix it.

From what I've read, a main theory on why apple could fail is that the treat and price their products like luxury items, similar to a Rolex or Rolls-Royce. The main issue with that is that you can have one Rolex or one Gucci purse for your whole life. You can't have one iPhone for your whole life. Consumers should eventually realize this and go to brands that offer similar products for far cheaper.

I love my android. I just recently got a software update, I have all the buttons I need, my camera is amazing, it's fast af, I can charge it was damn near every cable in my house, it's sleek, and it's dependable.

iPhone SE (1st gen) FTW. Honestly, I like the iPhone user experience. If your family and friends use iPhones, then it's better for you to have iPhone. Communication and sharing are easier, and it's just easier to use than Android. I thought I was through with any and all Androids, but with this recent change in iPhones, Android is now back in play when the time comes for me to replace my phone.
