My illustrations are based on open-source neurological images of various animal brains from the Department of Physiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Michigan State University, and the National Museum of Health and Medicine.
I embed my abstract watercolor paintings with in them with the hope that they create an interesting dialogue about the the beauty of both science and art.
Also, when you examine the similarities between these cross-coronal brains sections of various animal species, we’re not all that different. Oneness y’all. Oneness.
