Miami-based Axel Void creates images influenced by classic paintings and drawings. Whether he is applying thick brush strokes on canvas or painting large-scale murals, Void treats his materials and subjects with a delicacy and attention to detail.

Focusing on dark topics like sickness and death or important social issues, the artist creates his paintings with a desire to explore the bizarre aspects of life as they’re captured in his memories.
