When AI Meets Magic: I Gave Harry Potter Characters A Shrek-Tastic Makeover (14 Pics)
Have you ever wondered what the Harry Potter series would look like if it was an animation? If so, you've come to the right place! I asked AI image generator Midjourney to reimagine a selection of the most popular characters in Harry Potter in the animation style of DreamWorks, specifically as characters from Shrek.
A cartoon version of the Harry Potter movies would be absolutely incredible, and this mash-up of styles works perfectly. Scroll down to see the results of a Harry Potter and DreamWorks Shrek animation style mash-up!

There is no "I" in "AI". It's just elaborate copy/paste algorithms. It's isn't capable of originality, and its "knowledge" was stolen by vacuuming up copyrighted items - frequently over the direct objections of the sites hosting those items. Do better.
repeat after me: typing prompts into a bar does not make you an artist. If you wanna use it for fun, fine, but don't repost these images claiming it as your art, and claiming you're an artist. Honestly, BP, you should know better. (Also i'm calling out the fact that ages ago when AI first started getting posted I said no to AI art and got a ton of people downvoting me to the point I almost got permabanned. But Anyhow I'm glad people realise how bad it is now xD)
I agree, but I would post it crediting the AI rather than myself
Load More Replies...AI ≠ Art. If we could go without seeing ugly, stolen, sterile, soulless images on this site for a nice long while (AKA: forever), I think most people on BP would greatly appreciate that. Why do the real talented artists have to struggle to get any recognition on this site, whereas these hacks get pushed to the top?
In case anyone is wondering, here's how you make this "art": First, follow step-by-step instructions to install an AI image generator. This takes about 30 minutes. Then, track down a pre-fab model that can be used to generate the art style you want. Oh look, it took me exactly 15 seconds to track one down that makes Dreamworks-style characters: https://civitai.com/models/74343/dreamworks-diffusion. Then you fire up your AI image generator and literally just type in "[name of character] dreamworks style". Tweak a few settings to make it look right, then post your new "art" to BP. I am not exaggerating in the slightest when I tell you that a middle-schooler with zero art experience can do this.
The person that posted this is not an artist, but these aren't too bad. Most of the ones I get when I type a prompt in an ai generator are horrific. 🤪
It is coders creativity and knowledge to create robots to do this type of stuff. I know this because I am currently learning about AI.
No reason for you to have been downvoted. It does take considerable talent to be able to develop AI. How it's used is not the fault of the developers.
Load More Replies...other people are being kinda negative abt this- I just wanna say that all this looks rlly cool :3
