I started making giant colouring in art for festivals back in 2008 and soon discovered that they’re a captivating way to get hundreds (or thousands) of people involved in creating an amazing artwork together.
Seven years later and Fancy Features is my full-time business, ran with my partner Chris. From a studio in the United Kingdom, we supply fully customised giant colouring in canvases on a commission basis to clients all over the world. Each artwork is hand illustrated and made to order using the client’s themes, ideas and stories. I take great care in developing a unique design, the artwork can take anywhere from 3 to 10 days to design, draw, paint and prepare in our studio.
Once your artwork is ready you invite everyone at your event to colour it in, our goal has always been to get as many people as possible involved in creating art together. We make custom colouring in art for people to colour in at events, weddings and parties. We’ve worked with global brands, festivals, charities and a whole variety of organisations – everyone loves a bit of colouring in!
Once the artwork is complete you have a lovely piece of vibrant art to keep and display, made by everyone at your event.
To our knowledge, we’re still the only business in the world that offers a (very niche!) fully bespoke colouring in design service. Here are just a few our examples of our art, please visit the Fancy Features website to see more.

This design was coloured in by thousands of people at two events; Secret Garden Party Festival and the City of Colours Street Art Festival in 2014. I love the variety of detailed patterns that people created.
