where would you find these little trees that live in a cup and how do you water them theres no way for water to escape
These are all such clever ideas that I feel quite inspired. The local thrift stores seem to have an endless supply of pretty cups and saucers, so thank you very kindly for sharing there.
Muhaiminah Faiz or The Craftaholic Witch as she sometimes refers to herself, says she got quite addicted to indoor gardening but apparently got bored of putting her plants into simple pots and decided to make a fairy garden instead.
I so wish I had luck with succulent. I would love to do something like this.
This is fab, apart from all the metal stuff, around the bowl and supporting the teapot. It draws the attention away from all the wonderful stuff within and ruins it. What a shame!

“I've been wanting to make a fairy garden for a long time but made something quite similar this time. Might try to make a fairy garden next time,” she said.
She chose to plant cactus, succulent and some wall plants in her teacup garden so it would require very little water and care. You can follow her tutorial here for step-by-step instructions for making your own teacup garden.
Now this is a proper teacup garden and its charming, despite being a bit messy - but maybe that adds to the charm!
love the old houses, antique mushroom color tones would fit in better, red ones STICK OUT.
I used to have that cup! Somebody must have taken the garden out of it, because it was empty when we got it.
its so cute but why do they not talk about the picture like where did this little tree come from where would you find these little plants that live in a tea cup theres no hole for water to escape
Love it, but would have preferred a little flowering tree where the Jade plant, the cup in a nice touch.
Love the idea of the ladder, pity the scale is all out of kilter (I mean the scale of the different elements, obviously the scale of the cup should contrast with the scale of the decorations) and the crafting is a bit slapdash.
The only thing I see off scale is the fence, it could be taller, but I commend this crafter for the handmade elements.
Load More Replies...I love the tree and vine! Not so much the cactus a tiny flowering plant would have fit in better
why dont they post like how to put these together ? is fhere somewhere i can go to find out thank you
Load More Replies...Have been making these for over 20 years. My mom stared in the mid 60's. Back then she needed gifts and not a lot of money. This was perfect. All of the examples here are outstanding. ❤️
Actually, this one is very clever - the hand gives scale, and that cup is actually tiny! The colours are beautifully thought out and the design is good and not cluttered. Excellent!
The pot with the little succulent in is a lovely idea. So is the idea of the cat, but it spoils it that the cat wasn't done better.
I really like how natural this setting looks, even the not so real kitty on the bench... Everything is placed perfectly to make the scene work.
This one I love, almost unwillingly! I mean, that cup is horrible and yet it works perfectly for this little garden, and yes, there is fakery with the flowers, but it is so charmingly done overall, the imperfections are what makes it perfect!
Lovely. Imagine sitting on bench and enjoying your coffee. If only it was human sized :)
i have that tiny bunny too! kind of want to try something like this now! i certainly own plenty of tea cups!
? Why are there four cups? I thought it was supposed to be a scene in A cup?
Cute, I would have liked to see some things sprinkled around the saucer...
Naff! No imagination, just buy in some (ugly) fairy decorations and stick in a teacup and saucer....
You could scatter marbles., shells. Paper stars, I could go on and on.
Load More Replies...Not my favorite, the cup is too sophisticated for the theme and it looks like a child's first attempt. None of it goes together? Sorry!
The contents have a certain child--like charm but don't work with the cup and saucer which are pretty and need a more dainty treatment!
It is a little too adorable, but what is there is well placed and I am sure that Kaitlyn loves her garden.
so... if your teacup has stuff growing in it... maybe it's time to wash it? unless that stuff has evolved sentience. then... sell it off to researchers for... a lot.
Reminds me of those little fairy tree thingie’s people made, and the sidewalk houses. I’m not creative enough to do this so I resulted in starting embroidery
It's nice to have this kind of collection or display for the garden. A little whimsical vibe.
