Student Posts Wholesome Facts About Her Physics Professor And Now We Want To Be His Students
Unless you have a real passion for it, some subjects can make for quite dull and difficult classes. Physics is one of those subjects; fiendishly complex and full of mathematical intricacies, you are studying the behavior of the universe itself! The physical laws of matter, energy and the fundamental forces of nature are really not something to be approached lightly, which is why many physics professors are, let’s just say, on the more serious side of the teaching spectrum.
That doesn’t mean that physics can’t be fun though! With the right personality, a passion for the subject and a little creativity, a good teacher can inspire students to learn anything. I mean, who didn’t just love Dead Poets Society?
Tumblr user kaijuno, who describes herself as “Astronomer. Photographer. Science Educator. Show Host With the Most,” is currently at college studying Astrophysics, Mathematics, and History. She clearly appreciates the methods of her new professor, do we detect a little swooning in her descriptions of him?
Wouldn’t you just love a teacher like this? Estrada knows the importance of engaging his students, treating them with respect and going well out of his way to make sure they get every opportunity to learn with a smile.
With America currently losing its teachers at a record rate, with people leaving the profession for a variety of reasons including tight budgets and lack of support, enthusiastic young professors from abroad could become vital in filling the gaps. So it’s lucky that the government is currently being so open-hearted and welcoming to immigrants from Latin America right now, isn’t it?
Here’s what people had to say about kaijuno’s post

Share on Facebook...We need more cool teachers like him which goes through the extra mile to make sure that learning is fun.
I had a teacher like this in history when I was younger. The saddest thing is that his "fun" slowly died when the students made it so hard to be a good teacher. By the time I graduated that school he didn't do any of the cool fun stuff he use to do. I went back years later just to say thank you.....

I remember a mathteacher I had in high school, he was skateboarding in the classroom..
A fun and engaging teacher like this is rare. Every school has just ONE, and you're lucky if you are in that teacher's class.
I want to hug him! He seems like a cold dude who knows how to make learning enjoyable. I hope he gets a hug every so often. Like, every day. Hug this funky dude!
I hope he actually teaches... Mine don't. 😢 Also, where do you live again I would rather have him than mine...by far.
Now that you mention this. I had a fun teacher once... no twice. Never learned anything from them. On the other hand I had a total a*s**** who toughed me SO much! It depends on the situation I think...
Load More Replies...I'm an Applied Physics major and let me just tell you... yes, physics professors are absolutely hilarious and amazing. Given some can't teach, but their personalities are something else. I don't think I would have laughed in my classes as much if it wasn't for my major professors. My advisor wear Stars Wars shirts, that should say enough.
Awesome guy. Wish my teacher was like that. Instead I had an elderly viscious hag, who had knowledge, but no clue how to pass it on further.
I had a history teacher like that in High School. He would ride to work on a Harley in coveralls, only to show off the three piece suit he had under it...and then wear flip flops through the rest of the day. He'd play rock music while we studied for and took our exams. If we worked really really hard at taking notes and paying attention, Friday was Jeopardy day..trivia. And he always used quirky verbal shorthand to deliver new information "This countries army went to heck in a hand basket." "By the end of the century, the financial system of this government was sucking swamp water." Loved going to his class everyday and most of his students passed with high grades.
The one person was right the more you like a teacher the more likely you are to do good. I used to be the top student in my class but this year I got a bad science teacher and now I have an A- I know still not bad but worse than I originally had.
Reminds me of some of the teachers I've had this year, mainly my history and art teacher. I'm sad I'll be leaving them soon..
When I was in secondary school I had an English teacher named Mr. Riddle. He was an amazing teacher. Kind and fair and his lessons were very interesting making me want to learn. My best friend's name at the time was Lisa, as is mine and he used to call us Lisa squared! Teachers like him are very rare. He inspired a love of English, especially writing and reading stories which has lasted to this day! And I'm nearly 50 now! Thanks Mr. Riddle!
OK I know I'm gonna get a lot of flack for this but I'm just picturing how creepy this would be if it was a guy posting about a female teacher, especially the first bit
Friend was a teacher...dared to discipline a child...mother said she was going to wait outside to beat up the teacher. Police had to be called. That's why the teachers are leaving.
I’m glad I didn’t see any comments about how if the genders were reversed this wouldn’t be cute
