According to Together We Rise, every day, 1,200 kids enter foster care in the United States, a life that is often filled with stigma and uncertainty. To combat this, TWR brings together volunteers to help kids in foster care and to encourage families to adopt; two years ago, they started to post pictures of newly adopted kids to Facebook and Instagram. The response was tremendous.
"We've had thousands of people reach out to us and either say they are considering being a foster parent or adopting because of the photos," TWR told Bored Panda. "Every day we have people reaching out to us wanting to learn more about the adoption process or what they can do to help. We even inspired thousands of professional photographers who wanted to donate their services to families adopting. With an overwhelming amount of inquires we posted an application for any interested photographers and in the first day we had over 5000 professionals sign up. "
See some of their happy photos below, or if you have a happy photo with your adoptive family, feel free to share it below!

I love seeing all kids get adopted, but it's so rare to see older kids like this girl and myself get adopted, so thanks for the families who give us older kids hope!
This is so, so, sweet, and I truly love it, but I'm just a teeny bit bothered by the lack of the apostrophe in didn't.
I hadn't noticed. You really didn't need to mention that, you know! What's the point?
Load More Replies...Whoa, hold on there just a sec... dude's totally owning those earrings

Wow, were these all separate adoption cases? Their parents are some kind of superhumans.
That's a month after my birthday I'm happy something like that happened ????????????????
This tears me up, God bless the families that adopted them and I wish from all my heart they still happy forever
Cuteness overload. ♥ I so wanna hug each one of them. Yes, the adolescents too. ALL of these photos are too cute to handle... ♥♥♥♥ Headline says it's heartwarming, I say it's heartmelting!
I was adopted when I was nine months old, so this makes me really happy.
It only took until the third picture before I started crying. The happiness in their faces is so wonderful to see.
Well ... I wasn't expecting to cry today ... but all of these made my heart happy!
I am a social worker and this makes me unbeliveably happy. Thank you for all the pictures. I hope, no I believe, there will be just more of them! :)
So good to see adoptions celebrated joyfully and loudly instead of whispered about shamefully.

As a young adopted man. This makes me smile, cry, and think about all the children that just need someone to love and be there for them.
Wow... what a great post! That helped me a lot. I would like to share with you a great service to fill a form online. I am sure at least once in your life you had to fill out a form. I use a simple service http://goo.gl/EIKBiy
I am a social worker with kiddos who are in foster care, and sometimes it's hard to find a glimmer of hope. You just gave that glimmer!
Such moving pictures, amazing families and beautiful children. Human nature at its best.
I really dont think it's cool to put pictures of people on the internet to display them like memes, I personally wouldn't want pictures of me as a kid telling the world I was an orphan, that's for me to decide to share.
