My husband and I spend a great deal of time visiting the national parks of South Africa and I love taking pictures of different animals wherever we go. He’s been encouraging me for years to publish some of my shots but I’ve never had the guts to put them out for the world to see… until now!
Young male lion drinks from a rocky riverbed
Chameleon crossing the road
Curious buffalo look on
Cheetah brothers share a meal
Newly hatched Loggerhead turtle makes his way to the ocean
White rhino and calf having a sunset drink
Lilac-breasted roller taking a break
Elephants having a summer swim
Zebra mom with newborn calf
A leopard soaks up the morning sun
Elephant cow with two small calfs
You are so lucky to have witnessed predators in the wild! :D We were there in Kruger for 4 days, didn't spot any lion....our hard luck. Amazing pictures btw!! The one with babies are my favourite... :D Keep exploring and keep posting more beautiful pictures!
We are very fortunate in SA as we have lots of options and they are usually affordable if you are willing to camp. Next time you come to SA you must try to visit Pilanesberg National Park and spend a few days driving around alone to explore. We have loads to offer in SA and hopefully you can return one day and have an awesome game viewing experience!
