Tenerife, recommended by Crestem si Calatorim

Tenerife really is a place to visit with your family in every season, boasting a great spring time climate year round, and an array of attractions to suit every taste.
Kids will enjoy the diverse and beautiful beaches, either with soft white sand or rugged black stones, building castles and playing in the warm water. And if that does not take up enough of their time, they have beautiful Loro Parque or Jungle Park to visit, where they can learn about wildlife in these beautiful conservation sites, and see an array of animals and birds that will definitely fascinate them. Let’s not forget the beautiful mountain trails and the adventure of going up on a volcano towering over the island at 3700 meters heigh.
For those passionate about history and traditions, do not miss the Nature and Archaeology Museum and the Military Museum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, but also the beautiful villages of Masca and Garachico. The food in Tenerife is perfect for families, full of fresh produce from the sea and the land: fish, rice or bananas, and is absolutely delicious.
Overall, a great choice for a family holiday or even for a longer term stay!

Costa Rica, recommended by Momadica

Do you know how it feels to enjoy adventure and wildlife at their best?
We had an awesome surprise visiting Costa Rica, that fulfilled our desire of freedom and experiencing nature way more than we could have imagined. We spent our time going up in the cloud forests, climbing volcanoes, kayaking through bioluminescent algae or taking a pleasant boat ride to see the crocodiles, hiking to discover turquoise waterfalls, relaxing at the beach almonds shadow while watching the waves, learning to surf or enjoying the longest ziplines over the jungle.
Kids were really amazed about the diversity of activities they could do in Costa Rica, and it’s hard to tell which one was their favorite. In our opinion, it is quite hard to feel other than excellent living in the relaxed vibe of “los ticos” while getting to know the real meaning of “Pura Vida”!

Iceland, recommended by On My Way

Fagradalsfjall may or may not be erupting when you get to visit Iceland. However, The Land of Ice and Fire will keep your kids in constant amazement. Geysers, waterfalls, mud pools, smoking lava fields, astonishing canyons, impressive glaciers, icebergs, each and every one of them got a “woaaa!” from our little one. The whole country is just one live geology lesson!

Ecuador, recommended by Parinti Calatori

We spent two wonderful months with our children in Ecuador, one of the most fascinating countries in Latin America. We discovered there a blend of cultural trends, from old Inca habits to traces of the Spanish colonialism, but mainly a place where diversity and tradition combine perfectly, offering a rarely seen demographic and touristic performance.
In this melting pot, children discovered a lot of places to their liking, where they had a wonderful time, they played, they took walks and they learnt something new. Waterfalls, cable cars, colorful neighborhoods, plants and flowers they have never seen before, snowy volcanoes, tree houses, children’s museums, Inca sites, tarabita rides, fascinating beaches where iguanas and sea lions soak in the sun – all these and a whole lot more enchanted our children during our trip to Quito, Guayaquil, Salinas, Cuenca, Banos or Galapagos.
Ecuador is a country like a fairytale, a tale that children will love and will keep in their memory.

Cinque Terre, Italy, recommended by Picioruse Calatoare

“Dolce far niente”, icecream, coffee, history on streets, heaven. That’s why we love Italy. If I were to ask my 8 year old son, what part of Italy he likes the most, he will answer “5 terre”. It’s the most coloured corner of the country, not the most comfortable place to visit with a kid, but if you go there, you and your kid will not forget it. Witch ever village you choose, whether for a day or a week, these little gems, all are wonderful to explore with kids, It’s the perfect place to just enjoy some quality family time together.

Chiang Mai, Thailand, recommended by The Happy Kid

Thailand is a perfect country to visit with kids. Awesome weather, tasty food, beautiful natural place, you have it all here. Plus the locals love the little ones and will do anything they can do to entertain them.
But when in Thailand, go beyond the capital and well-known exotic islands. We spent 10 days in the northern region and had a great time there.
Chaing Mai used to be the capital of the Lan Na Kingdom. The whole area is full of historical landmarks and old temples, which perfectly blends with modern art, as the city is a hub for artists from all around the world. Located in the middle of the mountain area, you’ll find amazing nature here and hiking trails for all types of travellers. Don’t miss a trip to Doi Suthep for amazing views towards the whole area!

Namibia, recommended by Travelista.ro

Namibia is known for its deserted landscapes, not so much for its kids friendliness. But it turned out to be a perfect destination for a family road trip! The kids loved the reddish or golden dunes of the Namib Desert, meeting the seals on the cold shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and they learned so much interacting with the tribes of Namibia. Self-drive safari in Etosha National Park was the perfect ending for our trip, as we always like to see the impressive animals of Africa in their natural habitat!

My name is Violeta and I am an editor here at Bored Panda. I love reading memes for a living. It’s obviously much more than that, but I appreciate the variety of topics, information, and pics I get to see every day and share with the world! Those funny memes really make my day too. Being born in the ’90s in post-Soviet Lithuania speaks more about me than I’d like to admit. I’m still learning about the world and myself, but I do love my friends, traveling, art, and my cat. My favorite fact to share about myself is that I used to hide meatballs in my friend’s pockets at lunch so I could go play outside. I wish all those meatballs could find their way back to me someday.
