Share on FacebookI like these & I make home made marbled paper . It's hard for the ego to be beaten by a 5 year old !
right?! I was thinking the same thing... her marbling is 1000x better than mine LOL
Load More Replies...Beautiful!!! I would totally hang one of her paintings in my living room!
RIGHT?!?! I want one as well!!! LOVE the colors!!!
Load More Replies...I would not be so quick to buy this... A 2007 film "My kid could paint that" exposes a supposed child prodigy painter whose father (a proffesional but commercially unsuccessful artist) is suspected of forging these works in his daughter stead. A compelling look at the big business of "selling" art, and exploiting children for profit.
I have to agree. If these were painted by hand the dexterity needed is not possessed of a 5 year old. If they are marbled or inked she would need a great deal of help from someone. Im an aArtist by the way so I know the process to create one of these. yes bah.. humbug!!
Load More Replies...Im a flow artist myself and know what heavy physical work it is to make this big paintings, it's not as marbling paper! I guess her mother helps her a lot, I would like to watch a uncut video with the child painting one of these big canvases! By the way I have a five year old myself that joins me in the studio to paint, and it would be physically impossible for her to paint that big!
Omg she is precious!! With those little glasses pushed down her nose! Squeeee!
I'd take one of these over a Pollock splatterfest, that's for sure.
She has a good eye for color. I got curious and it looks like they are finished with a layer of resin (hence the shine), so she probably gets help with that.
OMG these are incredible, all I did when I was five was scribble stickman
