I am a jelly artist who runs my own business called Jelly Alchemy. I create beautiful 3D jelly cakes using seaweed jelly and natural coloring.
I began my journey more than two years ago. Unfortunately, in late 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I had to put my business on hold as I had to undergo treatment. However, I was determined not to let cancer get in the way from doing what I loved. On the days when I was feeling well, I dedicated my time to create 3D jelly cakes for my team of doctors and carers.
During my battle with breast cancer, focusing on creating beautiful 3D jelly cakes helped to shift my focus away from the physical pain and negative thoughts. Moving forward, I hope to find ways to make this a meaningful career so that I can continue dedicating time to gifting this art form to others.
Every piece is created upside down and can take up to 4 hours to complete. The flowers are made petal by petal using an injection method with special tools. It takes a lot of creativity and patience to create each piece!
Aside from being beautiful, they are refreshing in taste. The 3D jelly cakes are infused with flavors like lychee, coconut, peach, rose etc.
The most satisfying part of my job besides showcasing my creativity is to be able to bring joy to others.

These look to beautiful to eat. I am glad you managed to channel your energies away from the pain x
i would never be able to eat one of those cakes... too much perfection!!!
My stomach and mental health deserve this! I'd love them in Vanilla flavors please!
I feel like I've seen these being made and they are so cool to watch! If it's what I'm thinking they use a needle and like inject the clear jelly to make the flowers and fish SUPER cool
Omg I have no words... these are just absolutely incredible! It must have taken so much practice to get the detail that on-point. I could honestly look at these all day...
These are gorgeous! I’d feel guilt over eating one! Those including the koi are my favorites, but all are wonderful.
Here's how they are made - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JQr5QPEEN4
Oh wow! These are so neat! And glad you are in remission! FYI: I did google to see a video of how they are made - curious mind and all - and to do it upside-down/backward is just incredible. https://youtu.be/5JQr5QPEEN4 - not the author of these cakes (assumption) but I'm sure the technique is similar.
First of all, I am happy that you've recovered from cancer and these creations are great reflections on how more colorful your life has become. For sure, your life now is as colorful and as beautiful as these cakes. They're like medicine to the eyes. <3
No surprise many comments say they are too beautiful to eat. At least we have pictures of them, so they last in those.
Amazing. Most of them look like they have real flowers in them. I love the ones with a single flower
Fascinating! I love jelly, but would be hesitant to dig a spoon into this beauty!
Beautiful gelatin art! You can find online classes for gelatin art on the internet if you want to learn. :)
