Portuguese Street Artist Creates Stunning 3D Graffiti That Seems To Float In The Air
Odeith, an extraordinarily talented street artist based in Portugal, creates incredible works of street art that will fool your eyes into thinking that they’re floating 3D sculptures. His mastery of anamorphic art and perspective is truly mind-boggling.
We suggest taking a few minutes to look at his art, because that’s what it will take to deconstruct and see through his brilliant illusions. By incorporating the ground and the ambient lighting of a work into his composition, he makes it seem like his “floating” paintings are casting shadows on the ground or even giving off light.
The artist is a true renaissance man, as he used to run a tattoo studio and also sells canvas paintings as well. Check out his website for more of his awesome works and read on for his interview with Bored Panda!

“If you see the first ones you can see that was something was growing up as the years passed”
“I left school at the age 15 and never had art lessons. I think everyone is capable of anything – you just really need to want to do it”
“It takes a lot of time to reach a higher level of perfection. Spray paint to a lot of artists may be a big headache, to know how to get the quality you desire”
“Never quit your dreams if you’re a dreamer. And sometimes, it may take a few years to earn credibility”

JUST FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! THIS UNKNOWN URBAN ARTISTS, SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED FROM ALL OF US
This is really awesome and great art work. Whoever painted those certainly has talent. entering a competition would win him hands down.
great work, but can you make a picture with a person in the corner to believe really itś real ??
great work !!!!! But can you make some pictures where a person stands in the corner? To belive it is real ?
Superb--many US cities it is considered a misdemeanor. How sad city councils cannot see the ART instead of something that is destructive.
This man is an artistic genius....WOW Some of the best work that I have ever seen. How can I get a hold of the artist to have work done ?
Great work - although I would rather have seen more variation like the crocodile and the octopus than his name.

He's kind of obsessed with tagging his name. Maybe someone should encourage him to open his mind with that talent. (Love the octopus.)
Odeith is and always has been a graffiti writer. Street art and other kind of works are his "moneymaking" source. Your name is everything.

Load More Replies...Brilliant technique, but borders on commercialism rather than fine art, but brilliant technique all the same?
It looks like he paints the ground, not just the wall. That might be creating the "fake" appearance that you're referring to.
