Italian artist Luigi Kemo Volo is probably best known for his photo montages where he inserts Disney characters into real life, but he uses other brilliant ways to play with perspective as well. For example, Luigi's other illustrations, the ones that haven't made it into reality just yet, are just as playful. The artist makes them interact with real-life objects: pencils, lighters, you name it. What's also very cool is that his works are always keeping in mind the character they're depicting. Extending their personality, if you will.

Since he was a child, Luigi has always loved Disney movies and was a big fan of many Disney characters. He was also very passionate about drawing - comics and animations.
However, fortune was not always on Kemo's side as his creative desires were difficult to fulfill due to his financial constraints. He started his work career as a full-time bartender and also had some odd part-time jobs as a photographer in different ceremonies or taking up advertising campaings. He got into the arts sphere in 2002 when he started doing some street art and later on also worked as a writer. 10 years later, he began his journey into the depths of photography and in 2014, became a freelance illustrator.
"When I'm trying to choose a character for my new drawing, I usually let my mood pick one," Luigi told Bored Panda. "I then stare at the blank sheet of paper for a long time, thinking to myself 'What fun could happen to them?'"
"I don't really know how to describe my style. I just try to illustrate the picture that comes to my mind," the artist explained. "Since I'm a graphic designer, many times my work gets a little repetitive and boring, so I take some time to create and relax before going to sleep."
Luigi added that he's very happy to read the comments by people who like his art. "Some tell me 'It looks so playful, almost childish,' and that's exactly what I'm going for."
A completely open mind who can see the 3D art in traditional 2D paintings/drawings. Amazing! Thank you for sharing. 🙏🏼
I don't think there's one of these pix that doesn't qualify as amazing!
I am so impressed! You are incredibly talented! Thank you so much for sharing your talent and your heart!
Excellent collection! Keep it up and how about a large-scale mural?
