After getting excited about the Romanian festivals coming in 2017, how about going international? The European festivals landscape is a pretty colored one this year and it’s good to plan ahead. Below, you can find a list of 15 music festivals which could make for a summer that you won’t forget. Make your pick and start packing, time flies! A list of art festivals is coming soon, also.

Diynamic Festival
26 May
After celebrating the 10 year anniversary show in September the Diynamic family returns to Amsterdam for the fifth Diynamic Festival. On Friday May 26th we’re back at the Amsterdamse Bos, a beautiful forest where last year’s unforgettable edition took place.
Amsterdam Dance Event
18 – 22 October
ADE’s festival program covers the whole spectrum of electronic subgenres, with over 2,200 artists performing in 120 of Amsterdam’s finest music and nightlife spaces. In 2016 the festival attracted 375,000 festival visitors from around the globe, which makes it the world’s biggest club festival.
Lollapalooza
9 – 10 September
Lollapalooza Berlin is far more than a stripped-down music festival. Highlights like Kidzapalooza, a festival at the festival welcoming all kids, Der Grüne Kiez (Green Neighbourhood) dealing with topics like sustainability and social responsibility and the spectacular Lolla Fun Fair celebrating oddity, acrobatics as well as art and installations all over the festival grounds take the festival experience to a whole new level.
Sonus Festival
20 – 24 August
Sonus Festival. Spread over three clubs and with plenty of pre-parties, after shows and boat parties, it promises an unforgettable time. Sonus is more than a festival. Their home is Zrce beach on Pag Island, one of the most amazing spots of the Adriatique. 5 days and 5 nights devoted to celebrating the love for electronic music.
Dreambeach
10 – 15 August
As Dreambeach gears up to commemorate its landmark 5th anniversary, the picturesque Spanish festival has now added a further 26 acts to the bill this 10th-15th August. Keeping the drums rolling at double pace is Sub Focus, Don Diablo and Critical Soundsystem’s Kasra &Emperor; whilst house and techno is represented via the addition of Seth Troxler, Loco Dice, Joris Voorn, Joseph Capriati and many more.

Dekmantel
2 – 6 August
For the fifth year in succession, Dekmantel Festival will be held in Amsterdam running from the 2nd until the 6th of August. In the year that we celebrate our tenth birthday, the festival will run a day longer and now also includes the Wednesday. Next to that, we will double the number of concerts on the Thursday in various locations around the IJ-river.

After record-breaking edition this year, EXIT Festival 2017 will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love! Next year, EXIT will mark the events from 1967 when the revolutionary hippie movement changed the world forever, and from 6th to 9th July EXIT Summer of Love can change your life!
Love Family Park

For the 22th year in a row, Love Family Park will take place in Mainz, Germany. Previous line-ups include the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Solomun, Sven Vath so be prepared for big things in 2017.
Into the Valley
29 June – 2 July
Into The Valley, in Dalhalla, Sweden is the mothership where it all started back in 2015. The idea was to use an unexpected location to create a new, unique experience where nothing was left to chance when it came to music, art, technology, food and beverage. The idea is still the same, but the venue is new. Coincidentally, the new location also happens to be an old abandoned quarry located in Rummu, Estonia.

Parklife

Manchester’s iconic Parklife Festival has announced names for this summer’s edition which will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June at Heaton Park. Proudly representing a diverse line-up that spans pop, hip-hop, dance and indie, 2017 headliners include Manchester four-piece The 1975, globally acclaimed Frank Ocean and Grime’s golden boys Boy Better Know, plus performances from A Tribe Called Quest, London Grammar, Two Door Cinema Club, Chaka Khan and Damian Marley.
Primavera Sound

Primavera Sound, that has taken place in Barcelona since 2001, has consolidated itself as a model reference for urban festivals that is internationally considered as an unmissable musical event.
