We live on a rural gravel road with a mailbox cluster over by a trailer park but with no house-to-house postal deliveries, so we have as many orders as possible sent to our post-office box. UPS and DeFex (er I mean FedEx) deliver around here, but sometimes to the wrong address. Our house is too far from that gravel road for packages to be thrown at us... usually. (We found one box just left in the dirt driveway. Damn DeFex driver!) Ordering from Amazon is no worse than patronizing other online sellers, except for further enriching Bezos. If you think he has enough money already, shop elsewhere.
